How to unlock the A Father and a Son achievement in Tales of Kenzera: ZAU - Definitive Guide
Travel back to the beginning of The Wildwood and use your new ability to destroy the orange construction blocking the path upward. Journey through Ember's Spring and the Searing Sands before meeting Bomani in Mount Itshoka. He'll ask you to find his son, so trek up the mountain and into The Enduring Rite. When you reach the summit, you'll dive down into the volcano to face the restless spirit within.
Gagorib is the boss here and you'll have to face him on a pretty small platform. When he slams, be sure to jump over the shockwave or risk being thrown off the edge. When he summons large boulders, use your newest ability to LT + B dash through them rather than be pushed off the platform. Keep wearing him down and you'll eventually win, but the battle is immediately followed by a chase sequence. This plays very similarly to the Kikiyaon chase, but there are more frequent checkpoints. Leave the volcano to re-unite father and son, finally putting the Great Spirit to rest.
This feels like where the achievement should pop, but it doesn't! You'll close the book and play a brief interlude as Zuberi back in Amani. When you return to the book, your achievement will pop.

Minor spoiler… after 3rd boss fight and the worst part of this game is over, there will be a cutscene and an objective pop up on top left saying that the act 3 was completed… you will return home, skip the optional objective, do main objective and go back to the book… the trophy pops up at that point as thats when next act starts.
