I used Yuri's Dragon Swarm as the multi hit seemed to do the trick to knock it over.

Set Dragon Swarm to sideways special as this helps close the gap. Don't just spam it as it is capable of animation-stunning the boss. Use a magic lense when Estelle joins the battle (have her use it). Hopefully, you'll get the boss right up against the arena 'wall' as I did, which makes this a lot easier. Wait for the animation to start and lay in to him
