Not very hard at all just wait till he fires his gun and after he unloads all his ammo dont remember the arte name but afterwards he will take a moment to reload and its a pretty leanient reloading time to so just strike him when he does and BAM achievement

Honestly don't know if this is story based or what but you find this guy on a ghost ship. By sailing into the fog for a while you end up discovering it.
As "Hunter" said above ( :P ) this is very easy. I did it completely by accident. From what I saw, once he started his overlimit Rita had cast Stalagmite already and boom "Great!" soooo yay?! I didn't notice him fire or reload, he just fell over. I'm sure he did all those things, just incredibly fast.

The, Pants, Party
This boss has two different attacks that involve firing its gun. I'd suggest just holding down 
right from the start of the battle to defend and wait for one of these two to trigger, then while the boss is reloading its gun directly after, hit it with any attack. Azure Edge is a good choice since it has range.
