How to unlock the To Points Unknown achievement in Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition - Definitive Guide
Distance traveled on the ground and in the air count towards this achievement. The fastest way to unlock this achievement is to unlock Ba'ul after the events on Mt Temza. Then, rubber band your controller to point one direction and leave the game running while you afk and check back in on it every now and then.
If you had absolutely no air time with Ba'ul, it should take around 4-5 hours to unlock this achievement through straight flying, about half the time as the X360 version.
YOU MUST GO THE DISTANCE ON A SINGLE SAVE FILE, BUT CAN SAVE/EXIT AND DO IT OVER A PERIOD OF TIME. PROGRESS DOES NOT TRANSFER IF YOU START A NEW GAME+.
If you're going for 100% achievements, I'd suggest doing this as one of the last achievements. Even after playing for 90 hours on my 100% run for monsters and items, I still had to rubber band my controller and leave it flying for 2 and a half hours to unlock the achievement.
I would STRONGLY recommenced coupling this achievement with the Bunny Guild achievement where you have to wear all the ears for 5 hours (which requires you to get all but one title and talk to the guy in Dahngrest HQ to get the bunny ears). You can do the two achievements at once since you're gonna be flying around for hours anyways.

The Xbox One controllers will typically turn off after ~15 minutes even with a rubber band holding the analog. So don't bother leaving it on overnight or something.

Thanks! I'll edit that in to clarify that.

If you somehow don't have this by the time you get every other achievement, use a plugged controller and rubber band your up while flying on Ba'ul, this counts as distance traveled as well. This is half the distance it was on Xbox 360 so it might come naturally unlike in that version.
