Beguiling is one of the special abilities of the Sorceress. To use it, you need to land on the same space as another character, trigger the ability using the button that is displayed, and roll a die.
Beguiling is successful if you roll:
- a 6 against characters of good alignment
- 5 or 6 against neutral characters
- 4, 5, or 6 against evil characters
Doing so allows you to take an object or a piece of gold from the other character. Beguiling should not be confused with another one of the Sorceress' abilities, which allows her to steal a follower from another player. That's something else.

I got multiple downvotes from a guy because I pointed out that his own solution (which has been deleted) for another Talisman achievement was inaccurate. That will teach me.
