One of the Ghoul's special abilities allows it to raise an enemy defeated in battle and keep it as a follower instead of a trophy. That follower will assist the Ghoul in battle (only once) by adding their strength.
Considering that the Ghoul has a starting strength of 2, it might take a while for you to find an enemy weak enough to raise. An animal with a strength of 1 or 2 will be the easiest targets.
Once you have defeated such an enemy, look for the Raise follower button that will show up on the right side of the screen. You only have a few seconds to click it before it goes away (in such a case the enemy becomes a trophy instead of a follower). You can press
to pause the game to make the process easier.
