How to unlock the Long Time No See achievement in Tapping Skill Test - Definitive Guide

I don't know the proper time length between plays to get this to trigger, but you can trick the system for this one.

By turning off the set time/date automatically, I changed the date back one year from the current day. I then played a round of one of the games (the light touch game). After this, I reset the clock back to the current day and proceeded to play another round. While I didn't see the achievement pop-up on my computer, it did unlock for today smoothly.

As people get more information about the proper amount of time, you can likely do it without needing to change things, but this just made things a lot easier now.

neat find. I was trying to figure it out looking at the achievement icon. it's hiragana I think and says something like OESHIBURI. closest I could find is "o-shibori or hot towel offered to customers in places such as restaurants or bars". this could maybe be like a nice hot towel after playing the game for X amount of hours. no clues to the length of time though...

I just used the photo app on Google Translate, it literally translates out to (unless Google royally screwed up the translation on this one) "Long time no see".

For me as soon as I set my clock to a year ago and logged in to the game it unlocked.

It probably says OSASHIBURI which is just "long time no see". It's a greeting used to greet someone you haven't seen in a while.

I did 6 months and it worked. But what happened is that I set my time forward and opened by mistake. I closed the game before it loaded and then I set it to an earlier date (about 6 to 9 months back) and it unlocked with the past date on. But 2 things might have saved me here where timestamping was concerned:
1. I tried the steps in the earlier guide using 1 week, 1 month and 5 months prior. I don't know if one of those triggered it and waited for it to be verified in the server.
2. The achievement was time stamped by the XBOX servers (something that confirmed my hypothesis) rather than the game itself. The XBOX servers always carry the real time.

Twist it or turn it, the guide here helped me and I got the achievement with the correct timestamp. Mind you, I did legitimately stayed away for an entire week without playing.
