How to unlock the Consistency achievement in Taptiles - Definitive Guide
This achievement is really easy to get when playing Dash mode.
To get a special tile to appear, you must get a Speed-bonus chain of a multiple of 15; e.g. 15 matches, 30 matches, 45 matches, etc.
You can get this in conjunction with the following achievement:
I recommend the Dash mode because they are simple 'puzzle'-like layouts, with multiple tiles that are the same being next to each other, and it's basically just a test of your hand-to-eye coordination to get the matches out quickly.
Regarding use of Windows 8 through a 'Virtual Box'
Some people are using Windows 8 through a 'Virtual Box'. Most of these have speed limiters, and memory limiters, so you may not be able to get the required speed-matches to get these tiles to appear. The only way around this is to do what I've done, and set up a partition on your hard drive, which runs a separate install of windows 8, and can use the full power of your computer when loaded.
Hope this helps!

Totally agree re: running this in a VM , I have a very good spec machine and even with tonnes of resources thrown at the VM when it came to running the game the lag on mouse click where some time it might take two clicks to select a tile made getting this through a VM near impossible.

You make a good point. I never thought of that method.
