How to unlock the Right on Time achievement in Taptiles - Definitive Guide
This pack is rather difficult, even with a touch screen. I can't imagine completing the 2nd challenge without it. (Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.) The good news is that you only need a single star to pass each challenge and move to the next.
When you first start the pack, you'll notice that the times are *considerably* shorter. Sometimes you won't even start in the 3-star zone. The most important thing on any board is to know where the time tiles are and attack them as soon as possible.
Don't forget that you can shuffle the tiles once per board!!! If you're stuck after progressing a bit, a shuffle can save your game.
The first challenge has 4 boards. The second challenge has 3 boards, and is quite difficult. The first is a tall column with 4 time tiles inside. You start with 1:00, and you need to realistically finish the first board with 5-10 seconds left on the clock. The second board is considerably shorter and easier, and if you do it quickly you can gain a lot of time for the 3rd board. The 3rd board is a 5x5 hollow cube with a time tile on each of the outer faces. There isn't much help I can give, sadly, except to just keep learning how to attack the time tiles as quickly as possible to give yourself as much extra time as possible.
Once you've beaten the 2nd challenge, the others are much simpler. The 3rd challenge has 2 boards, the 4th has 4 boards.
The 5th challenge has 5 boards, and starts with 3:00 on the clock. Make sure you keep as much time on the clock as possible, since the last board is quite large and has no time tiles. The good news is that there are a lot of the same tiles in this last board, so there are a lot of matches you can find. Work quickly, and this board will be a lot simpler than it looks like at first glance.
The final challenge is a single board, and starts with 40 seconds on the clock. The good news is that the four time tiles in the board start with 2:00 apiece, so if you attack those quickly, you will have a good amount of time on the clock.
There aren't really any tricks to make this easier, so just make sure you learn the boards, and use that shuffle when you first start having trouble finding matches on the board. I found that once I was through the second challenge, the rest fell easily. I only got 1-2 stars on each board, but that's all you need to pass.
Good luck!

I completed the second challenge with a mouse on my second attempt. I seem to be having more problem with the sixth challenge.

Somehow I got three stars on everything, with a mouse. Failed a bunch of times, had to do each board at least three or four times, I think #2 took me a dozen tries, but every so often you'll get a lucky arrangement. The key is focus almost entirely on getting the time pieces until they're down to just a few seconds, then do everything else. I'm really not good at these, trust me, so if I can do it, anyone can. Just keep at it, you'll get lucky and get it eventually.

I can verify that it is possible to complete this with mouse and get 3 stars on all except #2 and #5 without touchscreen. The hardest ones are #2 and #5. #2 depends a lot more on getting the time tiles before they degrade (sometimes a matter of luck and judicious use of reshuffling) than raw speed of clearing tiles. Touchscreen helps with last set on #5 where there are lots of identical tiles, but even without touchscreen I got 2 stars on it.

Basically, if you can beat #2 (with a mouse), the rest are very doable. I got 3-6 done first try but #2 took me at least 5 tries.

I can confirm it's possible to even 3 star levels 2 and 5 with a mouse.

A general tip. When the game is paused, the clock doesn't increment. One option you can do is "Press the Print Screen button" on your computer, pause the game (Press the "P" Key"), then copy the screenshot into something like Paint.
This will give you some extra time to look for the best combos. Their were definitely some levels in the "Chrono Pack" I needed to do this with to finish on time.
