How to unlock the Shredder achievement in Tchia - Definitive Guide

Don't stress about the first music sequence (scraping dry reeds together) as it doesn't even count towards this achievement.

A few minutes later you'll be doing a second music sequence, this time using a ukulele. This is your first opportunity to get this achievement. If you want to save ahead of time, the timing for that is after you collect 2 pearls and before you return to the NPC. If you goof up, you can reload this save and try again.

Interior colors displayed (even shades of red) don't mean you missed a note. A missed note will flash a red outline on its exterior. At the end of the sequence you will be shown your percentage at the top of the screen, and if you got 100% the achievement unlocks.

As you might expect, using auto-play for any notes will not work.

As Mr SpinelesS points out, extra notes don't count against you. If you're struggling, feel free to spam the A, X, B, or Y button (any will work) as fast as you can to increase your chances of it registering.

What managed to get me it in the end is to stop thinking of it as a rhythm game and start thinking of it as a defense shooting game. Spammed the A button (I used A instead of X and it worked fine) and just made sure to be where the white chunk was attacking from. Didn't sound good but I got 100%
I am so glad I read this because I skipped all of these things early on and tried to do it on the one in Weliwele where it's a concert and these people are way too amped up. Did it with Louise where she's singing. Much tamer and just spammed A. I know I sounded bad, but holy monkeys it worked.

Hated that. Got 99% or 98% so many times. Every now and then a button press just wouldn't count.

Yep just spammed the A button and treated it like a defence shooting game and got it first time, not as hard as you think.

Not sure if this will work for all music sequences, but I was able to save (and load) while in the sequence. When I missed a note, I just loaded my save and tried again. The music sequence begins immediately after loading, so it's a quick restart.

If anyone else is struggling with this one. The musical sequence at the end in the epilogue at one of the grave sites is the easiest as it is only an up/down sequence and it counts towards this achievement! I recommend it for anyone struggling with the guitar music sequences(I am rhythmically challenged)

Didn’t pop for me despite getting 100% on the grave site musical sequence.

The easiest song is right at the end, Chapter Endgame. Walk towards her father's grave and you will play a song that doesn’t have a fast beat and is only up and down. I was able to easily get the achievement on the first shot.

The simplest sequence, down/up, after the epilogue. If it doesn’t work out the first time, through selecting chapters - End of the game, load up, run forward to the monument, the cutscene triggers, and you get into the rhythm.

Yes, only by starting through “part selection”, it can overwrite your main save, and you will have to finish it off from the very beginning... The game is completed, but for example, stamina is 116 out of 120, the save is overwritten and stamina is 20... all over again

according to the plot at the end, you need to play near your father’s grave, it’s very easy to make a trophy there

You don't have to get into the rhythm, you can spam and point the stick in the desired direction (for up-down finishing).
The main thing is to “beat off” the approaching buttons, and whether you do it in rhythm or not does not matter.
You can also twist the stick without stopping and press at the same time .

It feels like the trophy drops randomly, in 1 playthrough I managed to get 100% in minigames 4 times, but the trophy only dropped in the second playthrough in the minigame in the prologue
