This isn't terribly hard. You just have to score 6000 points by yourself in a puzzle. You can make use of the points multiplier powerup to help you out, or if you're in a multiplayer game you can use the cat powerup to copy the score of a high-scoring word. You can also just do a solo puzzle so you don't need to worry about a teammate taking score away from you.
I should note that the more words you complete in a single entry, the more points it is worth. For example, If you fill in a 5 letter word, and at the same time you complete the 5 perpendicular words (which means those 5 words are all filled out except for the single letter you're filling in for the one perpendicular word), you'll be making a lot of points. Those are good candidates for the copy cat powerup.

I've just tried this on Standard mode, with 'A Super Puzzle' which has a high score of over 6,000. I've ended up using all my points multiplier and cat powerups and still only got 4,500. Well frustrating!

That's understandable. What you might want to try is getting the 2x multiplier on to a big word, fill out all the letters around it, and then complete the big word so you score the big word and all attached perpendicular words. Then use your cat multiplier on that big word. You should be able to score a bunch. Remember that the gold powerups you pickup are free to use during that game.

This achievement requires that you score 6000 points or more in a single puzzle for yourself. You will need to complete a majority of the puzzle to reach this many points. You may also want to use the 2x power-up on the longer words in the puzzle before completing them to ensure you can reach 6000 points. I would recommend playing in single player so other players dont join and take points away from you. This will unlock at the puzzle completion screen.
