Team Sonic Racing

You can collect this Wisp from Item Boxes during a race. When activated, the Red Burst Wisp leaves a trail of flames in your wake as you drive. When an opponent drives in these flames they will spin-out. To pull this off, make sure enemy racers are close behind you, then activate the Burst with and drive in a zigzag fashion across the track to maximise the chances of catching an enemy in your flames! This is easier to achieve on a narrower track such as Ocean View or Whale Lagoon.

Play as a Speed-type character to increase the chances of you acquiring a Red Burst from Item Boxes. Alternatively, if you use the 'Red Burst' Bonus Box before a race you will start with a Red Burst.
