How to unlock the Complete domination achievement in Tecmo Bowl Throwback - Definitive Guide

Online MP is dead so you'll need a boosting buddy. The designated winner should pick a good team like San Francisco and the designated loser should pick New England since they have the lowest stats in the game. Winning by 18 points against a boosting buddy is pretty easy but they can help by running backwards for safeties or to set you up on the 10-yard line for a TD when the ball turns over.

I tried that with someone today on my friends list today and it didn't unlock.
He swears it was a ranked match

Tried it on 16/10/19 with no luck. Looks like it may be glitched.had an extremely hard time even connecting to someone.

Play an online RANKED match against anyone and make sure that you win by 18 points of more. If you are having problems with this, use the Trophy Boosting Thread to find a person to boost with and after you finish the game, the trophy will pop!

Pick the strongest team, or the team the appeals to your strengths (running, passing, etc.), and don't let up on your opponent. You can set the quarters to longer if you like, but your opponent may get bored and quit on you so be careful. Also you can attempt to boost with a friend if you can find them in a ranked match. Find boosting partners in the Achievement Trading Thread.
