How to unlock the Master Of Iron Fist achievement in TEKKEN 7 - Definitive Guide
After completing the games campaign, you will unlock a SPECIAL chapter which is you playing as Devil Kazuya against Akuma. Akuma can be difficult if you arent patient so DO NOT get greedy or he will clown you. Try to keep a close distance and dodge left and right when he throws his fireballs. is a usefull strat but dont spam too much or you can get punished. ALSO VERY IMPORTANT WHEN YOU GET HIS HEALTH DOWN IT WILL SHOW YOU AND AKUMA POWER UP. AS SOON AS THAT TINY SEQUENCE IS OVER SPAM AND FINISH HIM OFF OR HE WILL USE HIS RAGE ART AND DECIMATE YOU REGARDLESS TO HOW MUCH HP YOU HAVE LEFT RESULTING IN A "YOU LOSE" BROKEN HEART. Happy hunting!

His tactics and difficulty change from fight to fight. Sometimes spamming LB+A eats him alive, sometimes you're lucky to land one hit. Anyone who got this on the first try got lucky, that's all there is to it.
My tips:
- When he starts doing his teleport chains, try to time your LB+A attack to land right around when his teleport finishes. I tried just backing off and waiting for him to stop before attacking, and that was unsuccessful.
- When he's charging up for his unblockable and unstoppable attack, he can still take damage (I'm not talking about the fight-ending rage art), so some aggression is a good thing. You're gonna take the hit anyway, might as well get in the habit of dishing out some punishment in return
- Set one of your triggers to LK+RK. Tap it once and Kazuya will fly up and shoot an energy beam, which is useless most of the time because Akuma will sidestep it, and you don't fly high enough to dodge his fireballs. But if you DOUBLE-tap the attack, he will fly up, dash forward (sometimes to the other side of the opponent), and then launch the beam. The beam usually still misses but the change in positions can be helpful to disrupt the CPU's momentum.
- When you're spamming RB at the end, you need to make sure there's a little bit of distance between you and Akuma. You'll both launch your rage arts, but the reason you spam RB is so that you can launch your attack after activating your rage. Just activating it isn't enough. Your attack trumps his, but you have to be sure you have enough time to activate it before he hits you. If you're right next to him when he activates his, you won't have enough. This changes nothing about the tactic, but I didn't see this explained anywhere, so when I kept spamming RB and losing anyway, I was very confused and frustrated about what was happening, so hopefully this explanation will help anyone in the same boat.

This achievement I feel should be a 2.0+ ratio he was a prick to beat but I finally beat him. Just blocked his attacks and instantly tried hitting him after his attack ended and if he blocked it twice in a row I would back off or he would counter my attacks

You Unlock the "Special Chapter" after you beat the Story Mode. You have to Face Akuma as Devil Jin.
Akuma can be hard to Defeat. However, it's much easier if you know how to Drop Kick.
Press + to Drop Kick. This makes it easy to defeat Akuma. Each drop kick takes about 15% Damage.
**IMPORTANT**
Once Akuma's Life is Depleated, he will Trigger his Rage Art. This will One-Hit-Kill you unless you execute your Rage Art to Counter it. To do this, Simply press to execute your Rage art. (Spam it once Akuma's Rage Art Cut-Scene starts)

I was too aggressive at first, but the key is to wait for him and hit him with the jump kicks when he teleports into range. I did record it on video when I won, although I made lots of errors. Waiting, defending and jump kicking via the story help actions is key for an easy win.

OMG I just couldn't for the life of me figure out how to win this hard as nails battle, but your strategy actually worked. Thank you! ^_^

More important would be HOW TO EVEN START this trophy...I thought you play the chapter automatically while playing through the main story but no you have to return to the book and pick "Special Chapter" LUL. Cheers for the video anyway, saw it already on YT.

Hey when i done this it took me like 10 times to realise stay pretty close to Akuma and move up and down when he throws his fireballs and use LB and A you will see what i mean once you try, when it goes to cutscene and you have Akumas health down low enough Spam RB and you will take him out with your Rage
Once you finish the main story mode, you unlock this final chapter.
Before you begin, I highly recommend setting a button to LK+HK, because this is going to be the main command you'll be spamming.
The easiest way to win this is to constantly go for the LK+HK command called "Devil Blaster" from as far away as possible and to hit the command a second time in the air to hit "Reverse Devil Blaster" whenever Akuma gets to about mid-range or closer. This move does enough damage that, even if you miss it often, Akuma's health won't restore enough to nullify the damage over time.
Most of the time, the regular Devil Blaster will miss, but it has advantages:
- If you go for it from full screen and Akuma tries a fireball or especially a triple fireball, you'll jump over it and guarantee a hit
- Akuma will try to side-step it and be too far away to gain ground, so he won't get up close with one full-screen miss
- Occasionally, Akuma will try to move in too early, get hit, and knocked back full-screen, so you can repeat the process.
When he gets to mid-range or closer, or if you see him winding up a charged attack, use the Reverse Devil Blaster:
- This will create a lot of space and, usually, Akuma won't punish you too badly if he catches up
- If your attempt for regular Devil Blaster isn't aligned to hit, the Reverse will realign for a clean shot, which is vital because...
- ...Akuma will usually try to land a powerful blow that keeps himself standing still or moving forward when he gets closer; if you trigger the Reverse, you'll avoid the attack and it'll take too long for Akuma to recover, virtually guaranteeing a hit.
If you need to create space, hitting back + LK+HK quickly teleports you backward, away from most of Akuma's attacks, and quickly getting you back at the full-screen distance to reset your attacks. This is also useful once landing from a missed Devil Blaster because Akuma will likely try a big, long strike, and you can usually avoid them by immediately teleporting backward.
Repeat these three steps as needed and you'll get him to the final part relatively easily once you learn Akuma's main attacks. I tried for nearly an hour to do what the other guides said to little success. Once I learned this formula, I beat him on the second attempt trying it.
A mid-match cutscene will play indicating when Akuma's about to launch his final attack, which can only be beaten with a Rage Art. Hit it just as he gets within kicking range, and you'll win the fight and get the achievement.
If you use this Devil Blaster + distance technique, you'll usually be more than far enough away to easily time your rage art to end the fight, and very rarely did Akuma try to hit his rage art earlier in the fight when I used this technique.

The Special Chapter unlocks after defeating the main story and is accessed from chapter select. This battle can be tough even on the easiest settings. Akuma will throw fire balls at you from range which you need to sidestep (double tap ) so you need to keep close but don't get too greedy! Once you get his health down a cut scene will start where you need to start spamming to beat him with a rage attack before he does the same to you.

The main thing in battle is not to go into a frontal attack! Use attacks when Akuma's back is to you, plus you need to dodge his numerous balls)

Plus, to finish off Akuma you need to use your Rage art to interrupt Akuma’s Rage art.

Everything is too simple (as it turned out) dodges (up-up / down-down) and attack, if you dodge the balls, we quickly run and destroy half of our health. At the end of R1.
