How to unlock the Okay! I'm Ready! achievement in TEKKEN 7 - Definitive Guide

*edit - gobey17 says you can start with only 4 Players in a private tournament.

U need 8 players to start a tournament, so its probably best to make or join a session.

Really quick - 4 players win 1st round, then switch.

I tried legit but couldn't find enough players to even start.

Thanks gobey17! And I can confirm being just two persons doesn't work.

Being eight people starts the tournament at quarter-finals. Being 4 starts directly at semi-finals. I tried being two to see if we would start at the finals, but we just can't start the tournament.

What's cool with this game is that in tournament mode, we change change the draw if it doesn't fit us, and we can kick extra non-needed players who join.

So what I did with a friend is to set a tournament with default settings except putting 2 private slots just in case, but not needed as we can kick people out of the lobby. Then with both in the lobby, we waited a few minutes for random people to join, and when we were 4, I started the tournament. And I hit X when prompt to change the draw until my friend and I were facing each other on the board. What's remaining to do was to win the match, get the achievement, quit the tournament, and redo everything for my friend, letting hom win the fight. No need to finish the tournament as the ach unlocks after winning just one game.

This guide needs to be updated, you can do it with 4 players now (maybe even less?).

Wasted time trying to get 8 players, when discovered you can create a private tournament with 4.

Achievement IS POSSIBLE (thanks to GamePass) AS OF January 22, 2020 GET IT NOW OR NOT AT ALL!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Since the game has been added to gamepass there is a lot of people playing in the Tournament online. I even met some new online friends that want to continue to play this game long after this initial spike.

You can easily play in the tournament but a lot of people aren't willing to help you get this achievement. So pick your best character and pray you win!

I lost my first round and won against another person aiming for this achievement (they had 0 wins so I'm assuming), sorry M8 but Gigas is my babe, and has great damage output!

Tournaments require eight players before they start. You only need to win the opening battle and not the entire tournament. Double elimination tournaments give you a second chance to get the win if you lose the first battle.

You need to win just one battle, not the entire tournament. It's better to look for tournaments up to 4 players

To somehow speed up the process, I created my own tournament, called it “I need trophy” and I lost the first battle)
Don’t look at the ranks, dudes with 0B (zero wins) hammer out combos so hard that you don’t have time to get up.

If your friends also have a game, then you can create your own tournament and invite friends, and during the draw put your friend against you
