Character Episodes stories are quick segments where you'll fight against roughly 4 opponents. All characters are available at the start aside from a few which require progression in the main story. Everytime you complete one they'll have a green checkmark next to them. The fights are against pre-determined opponents, so just use who you know/who seems interesting and go for it. Good way to test out a character as well.
