How to unlock the (This one's in the bag!) achievement in TEKKEN 8 - Definitive Guide

Go to "Replay" > "My Replays & Tips" and choose any replay you have and press "Play replay" the side doesn't matter.

As soon as the match starts press "start" on the controller (the little button on the middle right with the 3 horizontal lines) and a menu will pop up.

Now make the list look like this.
Player Command History : Display
Opponent Command History : Display
HUD : Display
Player Attack Info : Display
Opponent Attack Info : Display
Player Frame Info : Display
Opponent Frame Info : Display
Hit Properties : Display

Leave the other settings like it is.

Now press B to go back to the fight and press the Right Trigger. A tip will pop up in the middle of the screen and you'll have to option to press "A" to train. After pressing this the achievement will pop.

(Note: if the tip shows a "Throw Command" it is not possible to train, you'll have to press the right trigger another time to get a new tip, if there aren't any tips left please select another replay and try the steps above again)

Also want to add that the replay has to be paused to get the train option. So you pause with B, go to the next or previous tip with LT/RT, then praise A to train. Achievement instantly pops with the display settings active.

Found this easiest to do in a replay of an online match. Much more likely that the game will teach you when to use a combo or a whiff punish

Took me quite a while, got only throw commands or no tips at all before finding a replay with a tip to use. Changing side for which to display tips might also help.

In the menu, select Replay - My replays and tips - select the battle and start, when a recommendation appears during the battle, you need to click the training and the trophy is yours
