How to unlock the Combot, Engage! achievement in TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT 2 - Definitive Guide
This stage of Fight Lab is dedicated to blocking.
What it tells you is that by pressing the direction away from your opponent helps you block. What it doesn't tell you is that also by standing still you can block, this really comes in use during the Boss Battle.
The first two stages are easy. I will go into a bit more depth about the Boss Battle which took me a few attempts.
There are 3 separate Mokujins to defeat in the Boss Battle. The first one will just try and hit you with regular attacks. Remember to stand still or press away from him for mid-level attacks, or crouch for low-level attacks. This first part is fairly straight forward, he has one attack that kicks you at mid-level then straight away again at low-level but once you get the hang of that its simple enough.
The second Mokujin is the same as the first but this one adds throw attacks (Notice the colour change also to indicate this). Remember to press X and Y as quickly as you can when you see the lilac dust to indicate a throw and this is then as easy as the first Mokujin.
The third Mokujin adds unblockable attacks to his game. One thing to notice is that if there is a large enough gap between you and Mokujin he will charge at you, so you will have to side-step. He attacks more frequently, and more varied though most are still mid-level attacks so just stand still and you should be fine, and he is harder to defeat but providing you have enough in your life bar left over he shouldn't cause too much trouble.
Defeat him and you have an extra 15G
(Also, there is a fun little mini-game for defeating each Mokujin. The highest I managed was 438m)
Please comment below if you think I have missed anything out

Thanks for the note that simply standing there without pressing any button is most time enough. This helped me a lot to get it (I'm terribly bad at this stuff and did not counter a single throw, lol).

Thanks for the feedback. I am terribly bad also and couldnt counter a single throw! But I remember standing still from way back in the first Tekken game I played which was 3 so I have always done that rather than press back and create distance between the fighters

An introduction to defense. Follow the on-screen prompts. Some of the strings against you will mix mid and low, make sure to remember them. For the punishing segment, make sure to input the command immediately after blocking.
Boss Battle: Defeat three bosses. For the first boss, he’ll mix between using mids that you can punish with , (1,2), and a mid, low string from the first section that you should block. The second boss will mix between punishable mids and a + (1+2) breakable throw. The third boss will use throws, mids, and mid, low strings that you can punish with a "while standing" (4) (just hit when recovering from crouch, and you’ll do a rising kick).
