How to unlock the Enter the Vanquisher! achievement in TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT 2 - Definitive Guide
Vanquisher is the 16. Dan. It took me 137 wins with one char to get it. You can level your char in arcade or ghost mode.
As Dragoner stated, this is the equivalent to the 16th dan. In single player you have to use each character to complete arcade and unlock their endings, so I would suggest doing this first. With a character you'd like to level I would say use the character you're going for the ending with first, then your promotion choice character. Also it is a good note that fighting the ghosts is a better means of unlocking endings than arcade mode off the bat, and you should set the rounds to 1 to improve the speed of battles. (Thanks for the reminder Tim!)
Doing this, you can get the ending you desire while leveling one character be it one you are comfortable with or Angel thanks due to her laser beam spam and get progress towards your rankings.
It is important to note that while going for the rank ups it's best to face opponents within 2-3 levels of you for maximum leveling efficiency. If not, you won't gain as many points and you will make the process longer in the long run.

You can get all endings in Ghost mode. and it is good to note to put it on 1 round.

This isn't my solution at all, but credit does go to Bigli Mezzana for the solution that he created over in the Tekken Lord achievement section.
This is for those that have autofire (turbo controllers with rapid-fire function, in other words) controllers and want an easy, but lazy way of earning the achievement, along with the Tekken Lord achievement as well.
Simply do the following.
Go to the control settings menu and bind LK+RK to A on your autofire controller.
Then head to the gameplay options menu, change the rounds to one, put the difficulty on easy.
Next, enter Ghost Battle through offline mode. It doesn't matter if it's solo or tag, as long as you pick Jun as your first choice.
Finally, lay down an item, such as your remote control or a book, on top of the button, turn on the turbo function for the A button, and you're good to go.
From that point on, it's best to stay away from your XBox 360 and let the fights keep going and going. Eventually, you will unlock the Vanquisher achievement, as well as the Tekken Lord achievement.
I hope this solution helped! Have fun and good luck!

If you do not have a Turbo-fire controller, this method will work better for you.
Set the game difficulty to "Easy," then enter Ghost Battle and choose Jack-6. The move you're going to want to use is Pivot Gun. This is done by inputting forward + x, y, y.
You can basically spam this move into oblivion, but for best results, delay your next attack by a few frames (basically 1 second) then do it again. It baits the computer into attacking so you can interrupt them and hit them again.
Also, if it seems like your opponent is about to tag out (and make you waste more time), simply step back a little bit, then input the attack again. They (usually) wont tag out if you do this.
If you already have a character at a high level, choose them as your tag partner, as your opponents will stay around that level.
Credit for this (with a little input by myself) goes to TEKKENFAN1 on the UK Namco/Bandai Games boards.

To earn Vanquisher rank in offline mode -
This means you need to reach 16th Dan, you can rank up to Vanquisher playing Arcade Battle but it will take a fair bit of time, Your best option is to play Ghost Battle as it is alot quicker to get into new fights and at the end of every fight (If you win) you get a selection of 3 more fights to choose from for your next match.
I reached 16th Dan (Vanquisher) with my stats being 121W / 2L.
Remember always fight opponents within 2-3 ranks of you as you will rank up faster.
Hope this helps.
