How to unlock the Ninja 5 All Hard Missions achievement in Tenchu Z - Definitive Guide

The short version: You must beat all fifty missions on hard mode with 900+ points to get Ninja 5 rating. It's unbelievably easy, just it can be tedious, especially if you've gone through on normal and easy modes. This unfortunately doesn't stack with the other difficulties, meaning you'll have to go through on easy, normal, and hard modes each.

The long version:
Your agility (blue) should be max, and you should have sprint, imitate voice, lurk, and feet. (You've beaten the game at least once, right?) And clinging to the ceiling is especially helpful in those tricky later missions. For strength and vitality, go with what feels right to you. Whatever settings you've picked will work for about 45-48 of the missions.

Always keep a little tally in your head of your stealth kills (100) and special stealth kills (120, when it beats red). If you chokehold instead of using a sword, and don't get it on the heart beat, it's only 80 points. Calling a wandering guard away with an imitation from a rooftop is helpful with lurk+feet, as you can roll your way behind them and kill them.

You can guess the final bonuses if you want, such as killing everyone on the mission (Total SK), target stealth kill (worth 300 points? I can't remember), etc. However I found it went a lot faster to stealth kill seven enemies without being detected to basically guarantee a Ninja 5. Each detection loses 80 points plus a certain amount more per time of detection (mayhem). As I got faster and didn't use an blowguns, I dropped it to counting off four or five stealth kills before going after the boss/target. Don't freak out too much about a detection, just kill a couple more enemies to make up for it.

A YouTube user named TheOriginalTGM1 has a Ninja 5 + Tomakichi guide for the first 20 levels or so. The video quality isn't amazing but it will show you a no-nonsense approach that will help you get this achievement as quickly as possible. Once you have this basis, you'll be whipping through these levels only 3-5 minutes each. When I was first learning the game I found it particularly helpful.

Unlike other games you have to do each difficulty separately these achievements do NOT stack. Stick to the shadows, and take your time. Only stealth kill your enemies. Upgrade your Lurk and Feet skill to 3, trust me it will make your life a lot easier. Also try to learn the guards patrol patterns so you can learn the best times to strike. If you need to go to YouTube or GameFAQs and look up how to rank 5 that mission. All together this shouldn’t be as hard as it sounds.

The most difficult missions 16, 17, 50
I recommend the following skills:
Lurk - allows you to run fast by default, which makes the game much easier, and it is better to immediately upgrade to level 3.
Jump - high jump, allows you to jump onto roofs without a cat LT+A
Feet - steps become even quieter
Blade - sword damage is higher.
The only thing is that skills are unlocked as you progress through the game, and they are not all available at once.
