How to unlock the Events Accomplished achievement in Test Drive Unlimited 2 - Definitive Guide
Simply complete the 100 events (20 in each area of Ibiza and 15 in each area of Hawaii) that are marked on your map by a bomb emblem with a timer. If you miss the event and the timer runs out don't worry, the event will reappear on the game map after an undetermined amount of in-game time.
I found the best vehicle to use was the [B3] Spyker D8 Peking-to-Paris as it can do on and offroad speeds in excess of 170mph making it plenty fast enough for every event except one.
Note: For the event "Watch for those speed traps" in Hawaii Area 4 you will need a vehicle that can reach 150mph during the countdown timer. This was the only event I couldn't do in the Spyker as I just couldn't get it to 150mph during the countdown timer.

I've found that using a lower level car for the adrenaline challenges gets you more points per dodge

I have done all the cup races, photos, Wrecks, 100% roads in Ibiza 1 and 97% in Ibiza 2 the problem is the missions have stopped spawing I have 17/20 Ibiza 1 and 16/20 Ibiza 2 but there are no more appearing on the map since last night. Is this a known fault?

This is easily achieveable with two cars:
- the McLaren MP4-12C (cheapest A1 car to get, so its very recommended) for anything speed and road-length related (esp the tail-chases as it has sufficient accelleration)
- the Buggy V8 (B2, scavenger hunt bonus car from the Ibiza Area 2 wrecks - thus free - very good accelleration).
see where the quest starts before entering it. if it's far away from any road, pick the buggy. i only had three offroad quests that i couldn't win no matter what with the McLaren, while they were easy as pie with the Buggy.
as commented on the other solution, i can verify that in some adrenaline races its actually recommended to use the buggy, even if it's on the road. it drives slower than the McLaren, but actually constantly gets points when driving at max speed (~230 km/h) and gets more adrenaline when passing cars. some of these races were impossible with the A1 car and easily doable with the B2.
the rest is patience and an occasional retry... and as there's no benefit from being 100% perfect on these (unlike in TDU1), you may even go for 'just reaching the goal' on the ones with a driving bar on anything that isn't a convoy race - and even there, there's no bonus, so minimal damage is no reason to restart.
I might add: visiting places (stores, houses, etc) seems to force the blue bomb icons on the map to respawn, if you want to see more, failed or recently timed-out ones.

Well, the McLaren is cheap. It's not the fastest out there, though. I found it very easy to control, through and as I wanted a fast car early on in the game, I went for this 'budget variant' of an A1 car.
Currently, I can't play (corrupted savegame and waiting for the wednesday patch to hopefully fix it) so I can't say what car you definitely need for the A1 races. The McL is definitely enough for the 100 missions, though.
However, the veyron is of course an investment on itself. 160k (for the McL) vs 2m (for the bugatti) is a difference, but just as much is about 350 kmh vs a max of 400 kmh, right?
If you have the money, get the vey, I'd say.

For this achievement you need to complete 100 events. 40on Ibiza and 60 on Hawaii. This events are shown on the map as blue icons with bombs in them.
But the events are timed and only appear at surten time of the day or night, so if you are missing a few, and can`t find them, it could be that you have to wait until dusk/dawn/night/day for them to appear. If you fail an event it will show up again a bit later, unless you retries it until you make it. The games internel clock will do 24 hours in 2 real hours.
If you have downloaded the free DLC witch contains more missions. They are marked as icons with goldbombs. The normal blue ones will not show until you have completed the golden once.
I found the buggy to work fine for adrenaline events since it jumps and drifts good and it doesn´t have a very high top speed.
For the rest of the events I used the bugatti Veyron.
If you struggle with the mission. Especially with the DLC once remember that you can go to options and select full aassist in driving aid.
Good luck

Hi there, I have done 79 normal missions and 8 DLC ones but the normals have simply stopped showing up? What should I do?

There are 40 missions on Ibiza and 60 on Hawaii. Missions are shown on the map under 'Single Player Challenges', and are represented by blue bombs. A handful are usually available at one time and once you have completed one it will not be available again, but if you fail one and quit, it will appear again. Mission types are as follows: 'Jolt', 'Adrenaline' 'Convoy', 'Drive', 'Time Attack', 'Tail' and 'Speed Limit'. The restrictions vary from one event to the next; with a time limit, damage bar and off-road gauge being the most common.
On both islands I would suggest waiting until you have completed the championships for that island before trying these missions, as almost all of them will be easier once you have earned a better car. Most missions on each island can be done with the same car, although not all will be ideal. For example, the dirt track events are best done with the Subaru Impreza and a majority of the Adrenaline events on Hawaii are actually easier with a slower A2 car than the high end A1 cars, as the points you get seem more related to the top speed of your car rather than outright speed.
By following the roadmap you should obtain Helping hand while in Ibiza.
Completing all 100 missions will add a huge amount of points towards your Discovery level.
Please note that the DLC missions (highlighted with an orange bomb) are not required for this trophy.

There are 100 missions in total; 20 in Ibiza Area 1, 20 in Ibiza Area 2, 15 in Hawaii Area 1, 2, 3 & 4.
You can check your overall completions of the missions by going to the Start Menu , going to the "Progress & Objectives" menu, going to the "Discovery" tab by pressing and selecting "Events". The Missions on your map are represented by a bomb icon.
If you cannot see any missions on your map, try reloading the game from the dashboard or just simply wait for them to pop up. Some are time specific and won't appear during some times.

There are a hundred of them in total. 40 in Ibiza and 60 in Hawaii, they look like the bombs are on the trophy icon and the time is counting down

There are 100 such missions in total (+20 dlc missions), as you complete some, others will appear.
The tips are very banal, but they may come in handy on the last missions:
- Don’t do it all at once, it will get very boring
- In a mission where you give a lift to a passenger with a heart attack, the main thing is not to make sharp turns, accelerations, brakes and (I don’t understand why) leave the highway onto the grass, but you can easily accelerate to 400 km
- In a mission where you give rides to “extreme enthusiasts”, you don’t need to do super-cool stunts, just drive 250-350 km/h weaving between cars, don’t drift around corners if you’re not sure you can and don’t accelerate. Adrenaline balls for cars and jumping on asphalt are quite enough. All missions are easy.
