How to unlock the Island Caretaker achievement in Test Drive Unlimited 2 - Definitive Guide

At night ( 2:30 AM for me) take the Audi out for the timed attack race. When the race starts turn around and go the opposite way. When you get to the first beach house on your left (inside the island not on the beach) tap the house with the front of your car and lay on the horn!!! (Right stick, push down). When you press the start button the clock is located in the upper right corner of the menu.

Quite an Easy Achievement to get but very misable If you dont know how to get it, Simply goto the Casino and start a time attack and then reserse, turn around and when you get to the first house on the left thats raised hit or nuge it with you car and press the horn RS. the cheevo should pop once the cutscene has played out..

Eccovi la mia videoguida per l'obiettivo, con qualche fumetto per gli italiani ^.^ è molto semplice da fare, controllate l'orario del video e sarete sicuri di farcela

here's my video guide for the achievement, with some baloons for the italians ^.^ it's very easy to make it, just check the time and you'll unlock it

To wake up the Island Caretaker, make sure it is at night time. You are required to enter the Casino, select the Audi at the entrance and select "Time Attack".

When you begin the race, turn around and go the wrong way. Keep going until before the hairpin and you'll see a hut on your left. Honk your horn by pressing the  and a cutscene will commence. You'll have woken up the caretaker and he'll wave his arms around in anger. Achievement will unlock.

UNOBTAINABLE DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE

(Time Sensitive)

You have to go about getting this trophy at night, around the times of 22:00 to 5:00. The casino section of the map runs 12 hours ahead so when it’s dark in Hawaii, it's daytime in the casino section of the Island. Now you will need to take the car that is in the lobby out for a test drive, you can drive all the way around or make a U-turn, drive around less than 0.5 miles and beep the horn and a cutscene will start. Please see the video for more info.

The hint mentioned above is a little inaccurate; you need to honk at the shack from 22:00 to 5:00

In the casino lobby, go to the car and select time attack. Halfway through the start, at the first bungalow, stop and start honking.
