How to unlock the Mode Master achievement in Tetris Ultimate - Definitive Guide
For this, you'll have to unlock the following badges:
The Spice of Life - Requires you to play (winning not required) 15 different game modes. This can be done with Tetribots or a second controller. Endless, Marathon, Sprint, Ultra each have 4 game modes between Solo, Versus, Team Versus, and Co-Op. Battle and Ultimate Battle have Versus and Team Versus. Out of 20 variations, you only need 15. To switch modes, highlight the game you'd like to play and move the right analog stick left or right.
Socialite - Any online game mode counts. All you have to do is play (winning not required) against 10 online opponents. This will take as many as 10 matches or as few as 4. Playing against the same opponent does count towards the badge.
Asimov's Law - Requires you to win each of the 6 game types in versus mode with a "Tetris Self". A Tetris self is not a Tetribot, but instead a friend that has the game. In order to face off with a Tetris Self, your friend will have to be online. In offline mode, add your friend to Party Play and win once in each game mode in versus.
After all that, should be able to unlock a fairly easy 75G. Only tricky part is Asimov's Law since it requires a friend to be online and playing the game.

How do you start Team Versus in Battle and Ulitimate? No amount of party seem to work.

Not sure where the "your friend will have to be online and playing the game" part is coming from, all I did was highlight my friend on the right and press A to add Tetris self. Not sure if he was online or not but he certainly wasn't playing the game.
