Great guide! I was missing 4 of the ones hidden under water and the one where you had to fly through the gap in the wheel near the end. Cheers!

The golden crabs are only found in the story mode and are reasonably easy to spot. They will either be hidden in glowing chests or out in the open. You can check what levels you are missing crab on by going to the level select screen.
