How to unlock the Fast-Tracker achievement in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 - Definitive Guide

Races are scattered through the city - they are marked on your map with a stopwatch-looking icon.

There are 15 races total, but for this achievement you only need to complete 5. HOWEVER, in order to unlock all the suits, you need to complete all 15 (the Hornet suit is unlocked after your 15th race is complete).

Races are broken up into two categories: Insanely easy, and moderately easy.

INSANELY EASY RACES: These are the races that have nothing but the green rings to zip through. You can actually web rush the ring's center (RB) so these are seriously child's play. If you want to be certain to get these done with no hassle, you can spam the Web Rush ability (Hold RB), but most of the time all you need to do is tap RB and you will have time to spare.

MODERATELY EASY RACES: These can be a bit trickier, but not if you utilize Web Rush (Hold RB). These are the races that have Red and Blue rings to fly through: Red rings do not allow you to zip through them (RB), but Blue rings do. You can make these much, much easier just spamming Web Rush (Hold RB). Spamming that ability will literally slow down the clock so you can aim through the Red rings accordingly. Then you can just zip to the Blue rings when available. These may take a run to just get the hang of it.

^ I am not sure, to be honest - I did these as I played through my Super Hero run.

If you are having difficulty I would advise doing a run or two just so you get the layout, or what is expected to complete the races. The few times I had difficulty it was primarily due to not understanding where exactly I was suppose to be going - once I had that down, it was a simple task of web zipping to each location.

I would advise, especially if you are doing a Super Hero run, to wait until post-game if you want to tune down the difficulty - changing the difficulty around prior to completing the main story will cause you to lose out on the difficulty achievement.

I noticed the ones with the red and blue rings may be glitched. One race I couldn't get to a couple rings but swinging through them (couldn't get high enough) so I was able to web rush through them. Another race you're supposed to wall run through them and I screwed up, so I used the hold cn_RB method and beat it with zero seconds.

EDIT: Care in point: I just did my 13th race, which was a race and blue one. I completed it entirely with Web Rushing.

Yeah, it is not so much glitched as the devs didn't really make a differentiation between the blue and red rings. The blue rings you can web rush (zip) through. The red rings you can simply "fly" through after a web rush (zip).

That is all I did, really.

Difficulty Makes a big difference in these races. If you are struggling on Super-Hero difficulty wait until you complete the game then simply turn the difficulty down. You will notice completing the races become a doddle
