Hey Guys while Zasters solution is good it did not work so well for me though. I did it in the Psychiatric hospital right after the guard trys to shoot you with a taser and misses. But instead of actually fighting. I Just keep Web Rush (RB) into them I got it first try with this. Hope this helps people.

Note- To help keep your combo going while you are web rushing to an enemy turn the camara in mid flight and look at another enemy and keep tapping RB until you Zip to them rinse and repeat.

Easiest way to handle this achievement:

Difficulty: Doesn't matter.

Location: Prologue

When you enter the room right before reuniting with Gwen you will fight 6 to 7 robots. Use RB and Webstrike/Web kick enemies over and over again. You can get to a combo of 42 before you have even destroyed any of them and you can't be hit because you are constantly moving.

I reached a combo of 70 before finally getting bored and finishing off each robot.

Here is another spot to do it that I found fairly easy. It is in Chapter 4. Watch the video if you are having trouble getting the achievement.

I did it in Chapter 3 when you break into OsCorps, there is a room full of baddys check the vid for more info

The first Place in the Game to earn this Achievement is the Beloit Psychiatric Hospital.

Collect all Enemies and simple push the X Button for Strokes. When you see the white Sign over Spider-man Head you must push the Y Button to Dodge the Enemies Attacks.

Dont use at the End of the Fight the B Button for Signatur Moves in this Place. The Enemies died to quickly with this Move and we need all for the 42er Combo.

All the above mentioned guides are really good! And this achievement is pretty easy using the constant web sense method. But my web sense method made it even easier, and takes a little less time.
Later in the game (Around chapter 7 I believe) you unlock the web punch ability. Get the first level of this, and then find a section of at least 4 rooftop snipers. Go into web sense (Hold RB) and web strike a sniper. As soon as you let go of RB, press X repeatedly. This is the web punch ability, which will also grant you the "Haymaker" achievement. Each time you do this combo, you rack up a 6X combo. As soon as your done beating down the sniper, IMMEDIATELY go into web sense again, and rinse and repeat. This combo can't actually kill the snipers, they fly in the air, and when they hit the ground, they are stunned for a few seconds. So after you do this method with 2 snipers, the first sniper you web punched, is already back up and aiming at you. So as long as your flawless in this method, you can increase your combo indefinitely with just 4 snipers :) When I got this achievement, I had a 93X combo before I messed up and got hit :) Hope this helps!

All these methods work fine. But another easier method in my opinion is to leave one guy in a fight and just jump over him and hit him, jump over him and hit him. You can repeat this 42 times because the single hit from the air will not kill him.

Again, all of the solutions are great especially the videos. The easiest level to complete this on is when you are doing a deadlock mission but you will need Web Rush Punch to complete it.

The objective of the mission is the subdue all enemies. So if you never do a special combination on any of the enemies, they will continue to bounce back up after awhile. I did this on Superhero difficulty and got up to a 241 combo. I wanted to see how far it could go.

One thing to keep in mind when you are Web Rushing, try to put a good amount of distance between you and the enemy your are planning to Web Rush. If you do a close quarter Web Rush, then you will just bounce off the enemy and have to quickly Web Rush again to keep your counter going. Good Luck.
