The Amazing Spider-Man

This is a relatively easy boss to fight, as long as you're pretty good with the Web Strike move. Scorpion basically has 3 types of attacks.

He'll try and straight up melee attack you, spray the ground in a wide mess of his goo stuff, and try and shoot you with direct shots of it. The direct shots can be avoided with dodge (Y), the wide spread is easily avoidable by swinging, to stay off the ground.

Eventually he'll jump out onto the poles in the middle of the water, go into web rush mode to slow time, and release it while your curser is over him to web strike (I personally used the web punch by pressing X as soon as you start to zip, but this is optional) and he'll jump back onto the dock, with you taking his place on the pole. Repeat the process, web striking him again, then get in a few nasty hits before he repeats the process.

Keep doing this and you'll have him beat in no time.

I did this on Super Hero. And this is a mandatory boss fight so is unmissable.

At Super Hero difficulty, I highly recommend you do the Oscorp Research Facility quest to unlock the tech upgrade Suit Acid Resistance (aka acid armor) and acquire it.

Scorpion likes his poison and he seems to have upgraded its potency a little this time around.

Also, the character upgrade Web Punch will come in handy as it combos your Web Strike into a combo attack with the press of an X after the RB.

This will be your second fight against Scorpion and he's learned to use his environment a little since last time.

He'll start with the familiar charge and tail strikes (so be mindful of your Y dodges) and move on to his acid spits and area spray.

As with the first fight, when he gets ready to twirl, LB to Web Escape the spray and after the attack RB Web Strike (or add X to Web Punch) back at him.

Scorpion will now also jump onto the wooden poles by the dock and spew acid like a sprinkler at you for 3-4 arcs.

You can try Web Escape but it may easier to just jump over or dodge the volley as it comes by. Beware of the pools the acid shots leave behind on the ground as you run.

More importantly, watch for the acid shots to stop and then Web Strike him good. Spidey will knock Scorpion off his perch, commandeer it, catch him with webbing, and toss the cross-breed back onto the docks, where you can Web Strike him again (once he regains his balance).

Repeat this sequence of events 3-5 times depending on your own effectiveness and you'll slam Scorpion into the slammer.
