How to unlock the Siege Averted achievement in The Amazing Spider-Man - Definitive Guide

This achievement is made SUPER easy if you wait until near the end of the fight (the part where you're shooting the glowing parts on it's legs) then pause and click 'Restart'. The game creates a checkpoint just before this leg shooting mini-section. From there all you have to do is keep swinging and repeatedly firing your webs in between swings. Took me about a minute, tops.

It's not HARD to do the "proper way" either, but if you slipped up and touched the ground, don't worry, this little tip works like a charm.

you get this for beating the first robot boss. s-01
use your rb target to hit the red lights on the body of the robot. then use your b button to shoot webbing at the blue lights. finally rb target the mouth to finish it. avoid the missiles. if you can beat the boss without touching the ground you will gain another achievement

As stated above, defeat the S-01, can also earn the achievement "The Sky is the Limit" for not touching the ground, will attach video though that shows how to defeat the robot.

Story related, unmissable.

Defeat the S-01 boss battle in Chapter 1: Oscorp Is Your Friend to unlock this trophy.

Swing around the robot until its weak points are exposed (they will be glowing red), and then web rush into them with to deal damage to it. When it has blue fans exposed, use to web shoot them and cause more damage. Once you have webbed all of the blue fans, you will need to perform one more web rush on its face in order to defeat the robot once and for all.

*Story Related*

  • 1st Phase - Press  to 'Web Strike' the 4 orange markers.
  • 2nd Phase - Press  to 'Web Strike' its eyes when prompted and you enter a Quick Time Event of punching with  and dodging with . Do this for both eyes.
  • 3rd Phase - Press  to 'Web Shoot' all 6 of the blue markers on its legs then Press  for a final 'Web Strike'. 

Note: Keep swinging with  and don’t touch the ground for The Sky Is The Limit.
