How to unlock the How'd you get up there? achievement in The Artful Escape - Definitive Guide

This achievement is missable in your first playthrough but can be obtained by using chapter select. It is obtainable in the 14th chapter, Glimmerdimm Beach. Make your way through the level and climb the water in rockformations until you see a giant jelly in a low position. It is way bigger than all the rest, so you will recognize it. On the right side of it, there is a small platform with a smaller jelly and a platform above that which contains the archway. Just before you slide down the rockformation. DON'T slide down but jump on the small jelly just in front of it. Get your jumps higher by pressing Y before jumping on the jelly. Use double jump (and X if needed) to reach the top of the archway.

For the people who experience some kind of bug, try this as stated by @notoriousJMZ:
If restarting or loading checkpoint didn't work. Quit the game completely en reboot the level.

The review states there is a chapter select option, so is anything truly missable as you suggest in your solutions?

Mathew Twist Yes. Of course it is. If you miss it and don't replay the chapter to correct it. Otherwise it would be guaranteed.

I found it best to use Y to smash down as soon as you bounce upwards (it will bring you higher), at the height of your jump move to the right and then use X to start floating.

I didn't use double jump as that somehow resulted in less height.

If you press X as you are travelling up after pressing Y you will get massive air and it makes it trivial to land on the arch.

I just pressed Y then pressed X ,lots more height and you can float across to the top .Nice game .

I confirms it's not bugged - got it today. If you miss or slip and fall down, try running up the waterfall so that you don't have to restart the chapter, worked for me.

This is kinda bugged. I couldn't get the achievement to pop despite getting on to the archway loads, tried restarting the level, loading checkpoint but nothing worked.

Turned out I had to quit off the game, maybe something about it being on quick resume may have caused the achievement to not pop.

Rebooted the level and it immediately popped, so worth a try if its not working for anyone else.

It is quite tricky to land on the arch, if you double jump you will not be high enough, just Y jump on the jelly, then only use X at the top and you will get a little higher and land on the arch.

What notoriousJMZ suggested worked for me. Completely quit out of game and restarted. As the game was loading, this achievement popped before I had even restarted the level.

Really annoying, the “achievement won’t pop” problem. I had it with this one too. In fact, after my playthrough and the credits rolling, I came back on the start screen without the ability to press A. No achievement popped. I quit and restarted the game and boom, a ton of achievements. Weird bug.

I had severe lag on this one but it popped as it should have. thought i was experiencing the bug but just lag.

To get the most air (crazy air), after slamming on the jelly pad with a Y jump slam, almost immediately hit/hold x to do a aerial jam.

I had been struggling with this trying to time my jam at the top of the jump to float over to the arch, but just jam earlier and you'll float waaaaay more than high enough. Then the only problem is aiming the landing.

ClownRazer has the right solution press Y and then X... try to get visual reference to land on the top. Three try and get it.

continue forward and you should notice large jelly pads on the ground that you can jump on. They will 
propel you into the air, high enough to land on the archway above the waterfall. You will need to double 
jump and use your guitar for a little extra height to make it onto the archway.

The arch is BEFORE the conversation with the fish, not after. It's right near the beginning of the level.

This is done in the "Glimmerdimm Beach" chapter.

As you make your way through the start of this section, you'll be introduced to some jelly-like jump pads that will boost you up into the air when you land on them. Once you see a very large one (you'll jump off a short cliff onto it) and it'll toss you up to a smaller green one. Just after the green one is an archway that you'll pass under (there's a slide immediately after so be careful as you approach it). You need to use the green jelly booster to rocket yourself into the air so you land on the archway. A normal jump won't get you up there, but if you use your slam ability (cn_X + cn_T), you'll slam down on it with enough force to send you flying up in the air. Use your second double jump (cn_X) and your float ability (cn_S) if need be to get the rest of the way up. As soon as you land on the archway, wait about a second or two and the trophy will pop.

Through the selection of the chapter, we select the 14th and there will be a vault there almost at the very beginning, the hint is right in the achievement itself (see the picture next to the title)
You need to jump on it by pressing Y and then fly with a double jump and holding X while jumping
