How to unlock the Suicidal achievement in The Ascent - Definitive Guide
If you have finished the game and haven't died as much as the developers thought or wished you would, I have found a great spot to quickly grind the remaining deaths. When you have died 100 times in total* with a single character you unlock this achievement.
On tier: highStreet, between corpZone and the Umbilical, there is a bridge of sorts (see image or video below for the precise location). On it, there are high-level enemies who will kill you almost instantly if you are in the open, and you'll respawn directly before it. I suggest removing all armor, increasing the difficulty to hard (thanks ZackoBlacko), and then charge the enemies, respawn and repeat the process until you have 100 deaths in total. On the Series X, you'll be able to die and reload in roughly 12 seconds in this spot, so even the full 100 deaths would take only around 20 minutes.
*Note: This achievement is buggy and switching characters (perhaps also by playing co-op) can remove your progression for this achievement, meaning you'll need to grind the full 100 deaths in addition to the number of deaths you already had previously.
Edit: added image with exact location
I have also included a video for those who prefer that.

Is this a good game?

@MrWhite2U I liked it but that is highly subjective. Watch some gameplay or a review for the game (I always enjoy the reviews from Skill Up, youtube link), and you can make up your mind yourself.

This is NOT cumulative across saves, but you CAN grind it out after finishing the main story.
If you're doing it on a high-level save, you might want to reset your skills first so that you die easier. Then travel to a high-level spot (like e.g CorpZone) where you respawn close to enemies, put on your worst protective gear and run in and die. Repeat up to 100 times.
NOTE: After switching to another save, my progress didn't go up for another 20 deaths, so do this before switching saves if you were planning to.

Resetting my game progress on my account allowed for me to continue progress and complete this achievement on my previously glitched character save slot.
Note: Starting a new game or joining a new game that is not past character generation stage with a currently saved character slot will wipe all character data. The game warns you if you are about to do this and tells you it will overwrite data. If you see this do not move forward.
Game Progress Reset Process
Sign in to xbox with two accounts (One can be a guest).
Load Ascent with your main account the one that has the character profile you wish to reset game progress on.
Start a new couch co-op game with a second character save slot.
Then start the game so it gets past character generation and gets in to the first mission allow it to auto save then back out.
Resume the co-op couch game with that same character using the main account.
Once in lobby go to one of the available slots with the second controller/account and press A. This will bring up the list of saved character slots of the main account.
Select the main character that you wish to reset game progress on then start the couch game again allow it to auto save then back out of the game.
Now you will notice the character profile has been reset to the start of the game.
Simply go to single player and resume game under the main profile you just reset and away you go with full character data.

Really surprised that 100 deaths needed a guide 🤣

I was stuck at 43% after having started the game in single player and then switching off between co-op with my squad and single player. You can’t just do your entire game in co-op unless you’re the host, since so much of it does not count if you’re in someone else’s game.
So after having finally getting all the achievements to pop (thanks to this last update where several were stuck previously) I only had Suicidal left.
I went to single player and loaded my previous game. I went to high street and then to corp zone and made my way up to Dreamland. There is a group of enemies immediately to the right that practically one-shot you if you take off your armor, and the respawn is right there.
I just kept dying over and over and my progress still did not budge. But once it ‘caught up’ to more deaths in single player than I had had in co-op, it started progressing again. Important to note that the deaths were no longer adding up in co-op either which was the problem. It was just completely stuck.
So going back to single player, catching up to more deaths that I had when it got stuck in co-op, and it’s now working as it should.

Not sure calling this achievement "suicidal" was nice for anyone who got it without trying, but I doubt most people will actually die 100 times during the game. Once you complete all your other achievements if you still need deaths, head to one of the tougher areas, remove all your armor, and rush into a big fight. You generally respawn close to where you died and can repeat that for 10-20 minutes until you're done.

The trophy is buggy, the counter is valid only in one playthrough, if you have several characters, then when you change the counter is reset, be careful, do not change the characters until you are knocked out.

For those who play on the hard difficulty level, it will not be difficult to knock out the achievement.

Remove all your clothes, set to max. difficulty - take a taxi to the high street in Izlishk. There the enemies will be as close as possible.
