This is actually pretty simple.

You can lose lots of days by resting in camps, so make sure you limit your rest stops.

I reached Arberrang in 79 days without any problems.

I recommend using this guide which details the consequences of dislogue options.

Just to add to what you said, I was on day 91 at the beginning of Chapter 14, and made it to Arberrang on day 99 (rested twice as well, and stayed around good morale). Just for a idea of how long it'll take to get there.

Got there in exactly 100 days and it did not pop

This achievement is much easier than its BS1 counterpart. You can get this with 15-20 days to spare while still resting enough to get High Spirits and choosing options that will lead to fights or camping for supplies that will cost you time as well. Don't worry too much about it, but if somehow you do miss it, a quick speed run on Easy will take no time at all.
