How to unlock the Warmonger achievement in The Banner Saga 2 - Definitive Guide

Make sure to fight every time a battle is presented. I finally received it in a mandatory battle early on in Chapter 14. If you're having trouble, pull up one of the great walkthroughs (ArrPeeGeez or game pressures guides are good) and follow the choices to opt into all possible battles.

I'm pretty sure this one is glitched. I might have missed one or two, but I fought in most every battle and think I should've gotten it. The Hard difficulty achievements didn't unlock for me neither.

I didn't seek out battles and got it on my last battle of Chapter 14.

If you are going for "Master Tactician," this will easily come along the way as you'll be getting into as many fights as possible for the extra renown and kills to get six characters to Rank 10. There are very few War events as opposed to the first game, so you won't have many double battles to contend with. Make sure you follow the walkthrough in the road map and always choose options that will lead to a battle.
