The Bard's Tale IV: Director's Cut

It’s not entirely correct that the developers call the last puzzle “in the hilt” because on magic sticks, this is far from being a hilt. These puzzles are not available to a small number of weapons, and in fact there is no puzzle as such. After you open this level, a hint phrase will appear that indicates what you need to do to open it. Usually you will need to find an altar with the same phrase and insert a weapon into it, then watch it again. Sometimes you need to perform some actions, for example, kill a certain type of enemy, or see code numbers somewhere. If you don’t want to bother with all this, then the code is for “Reliquary of Mangar”. The code can be found at the top of the lighthouse in Vura.
