How to unlock the In Seconds Flat achievement in The Beatles Rock Band - Definitive Guide

In Seconds Flat
Maintain Beatlemania for 60 seconds.

Easy one. I did this on Yellow Submarine with Guitar, Bass and Drums. Im sure you dont need more than 2 instruments.

Heres how we did it; We waited till all players had a full bar, then the Drummer activated at his 4th activation-note. Before the drummers Beatlemania ran out, we completed a "Unison Bonus", so the Bassist waited till the drummers Beatlemania was almost depleted, followed by the Guitarist. Eventually we managed to keep Beatlemania going for more than 120 seconds.

Couldn't do it with just bass and guitar on yellow submarine. Best time was 55 seconds.

Can this be done in an online match? I've tried a few times and had some lengthy Beatlemanias but still no cheese mint. :(

@ Beanpotter. Yes. I got mine in quickplay online. 60 seconds is longer than it feels while playing. Remember most songs is about 3 mins long, so you'll need Beatlemania going constantly for 1/3 of the song. If the other players is chatting between songs, talk to them and try to get them to help.

I just got this achievement with only a bass (on expert), on the song "Because". To do it, I saved up all of the Beatlemania for the first three sections, waiting until the chorus ("Love is old, love is new"), where there is a single note Beatlemania string. I set off my full reserve a few seconds before that chorus, and from there you just furiously pump the whammy bar and hope you catch all of the sections through to the last one. It's so close on the last one that I actually had to hit the note a little early, risking missing it. I ended up having 65 seconds of Beatlemania.

It should be noted that this song is DLC, not on-disc.

This solution works, got it this way too, and I'd add that you can easily add Easy Vocals to the mix for a further boost, which is quite easy to do.

We did with just guitar and bass, on Octopus's Garden. Wait until you both have full Beatlemania, then have the guitarist fire off theirs, and then have the bassist use theirs just before the first one runs out.

At least 2 people could unlock this fairly easily, but if you're like me, you've gotten pretty good at playing Hard (or expert) guitar/bass and Medium (or Hard when forced to) vocals at the same time (which is necessary for all the Tour achievements in RB1 unless you have a roommate/spouse/great friend/etc. who is both good and loves the game). A mic stand is best, but I have an office chair that I've duct taped the microphone to the top of.

Therefore, I found/came across a way to get this while playing guitar and vocals by yourself simultaneously. Difficulty doesn't really matter, but you'll want the vocals on Medium or Easy as you won't be able to look at them much.

I didn't come up with this, though - credit goes to user Black Tango of xbox360achievements.org.

The song is I Am the Walrus. Obviously get full beatlemania for each instrument, then wait till the second violin solo:

"Activate your vocals after 'Sitting in an English garden/Waiting for the sun'

You'll pick up two more Beatlemania phrases, so it'll last until just after 'See how they smile like pigs in a sty/See how they snied'

Activate guitar here (at the 'I'm crying' phrase).

You'll pick up one guitar phrase, and two more vocal phrases before the guitar runs out.

You'll be able to activate vocals again at the next 'I am the walrus', keeping the streak going for a few more seconds.

I hit 68 seconds this way."

Doing it on a slower song like Come Together is easier because Beatlemania lasts for longer, was able to do it with a Drummer on Medium, Bassist on Expert, and Guitarist on Hard. Let the drummer activate first once you all have full then follow with bass then guitar. Should only take a couple tries if more than one.

As another guide says, Octopus's Garden on guitar and bass is a pretty easy way to do this, but I'm posting another guide to give more information on timing.

Have both instruments on medium. The bassist should deploy Beatlemania right after the lyrics "We would be warm / Below the storm." They'll be able to pick up more Beatlemania twice before running out, meaning you can pick up quite a bit of time before the guitarist has to deploy. If you get all this timing right, the guitarist should be able to pick up some extensions too, and before the guitarist runs out the bassist should be able to pick up a half meter of Beatlemania again to deploy when the guitarist is almost out.

We were able to squeeze out 78 seconds this way.

Ticket to Ride
Player 1:
Guitar - Hard
Vocals (solo) - Easy

Player 2:
Bass - Easy

I think with 3 instruments on any difficulty this is is pretty easy and just needs coordination. Wait until all 3 instruments have accumulated a full bar of overdrive (about half way through the song).

Activate the vocals first, then the guitar when the vocal overdrive is about to run out, then the bass when the guitar overdrive is about to run out.

I managed to earn enough overdrive on each instrument to fill half a bar again before the first round ran out - so this meant the vocals could activate a second time before the bass ran out.

Finished with 85s of overdrive total.

The strategy for this is pretty simple. Have 3 or 4 band members playing with you. If you're going to play with 3 people, it's preferrable to play with a bassist, guitarist and drummer. Have everyone get full Beatlemania. Then have the drummer use his Beatlemania as he is the most restricted out of the 3. After he uses his Beatlemania have him just keep playing until it is very low, at which point either the guitarist or bassist use their Beatlemania, but not at the same time. When the guitarist/bassist is close to running out have the other member that didn't use his yet use it. Keep repeating this cycle as long as you can and you will get the trophy.

If you weren't aware, Beatlemania is star power, this is simple to do as a band, have the first player activate star power and just before it runs out have another player activate, follow this pattern for a minute. Awaiting information on whether this is possible solo.

You have to sustain Beatlemania for 60 seconds. It’s done like this: all players reach the maximum of Beatlemania, then one player activates Beatlemania and then, when the first player is almost out of Beatlemania, the second player activates Beatlemania, then the third and fourth.
