How to unlock the Sensational Singers achievement in The Beatles Rock Band - Definitive Guide
Sensational Singers (20)
To unlock this achievement you may play on any difficulty and you -Must- choose Harmonies when singing or the score you earn will not count towards the achievement.
Playing harmonies, you can earn around ~50,000 to ~100,000 points per song. If you want to sing an easy song, 'Yellow Submarine' seems to have familiar lyrics and a tune that everyone (even me) can carry at a difficult level in this game, Hard or Expert.
Otherwise just choose songs you think you would like to sing and have fun with this achievement, it shouldn't be too hard to unlock if you can sing on Hard and up.
*Edit*: Also, no, it does not require 2 people to sing on Harmonies, but it is the proper way to do so.

I dont get the instrument spesific career achievements. Can you get them in quickplay or only in Story Mode? I got Guitar, Bass and Drums in a single Story mode and vocals in a seperate story. What confuses me is that my high-scores against my friends is a mix between story mode and quickplay.
I did also got my Gold badge when I got 1Mill on drums... before I even tried vocals. Btw, Is there a Platinum badge?

You can get them in either Quickplay and Story Mode, as your career score is seen at the Quickplay entrance screen and will raise in either case. High scores are tracked between Story Mode and Quickplay. Playing anything solo will always be playing on solo career, and playing in a band will always be playing in everyone's band career.
Story Mode does not work like Band World Tour did nor Solo Careers have in the past. Story Mode is simply Quickplayiny songs in a certain order, and unlocking photos and prizes.
According to the in-game leaderboards, there is another icon besides Inverted and Gold (though it doesn't really look platinum, I can't tell.

I found this achievement confusing so here is my explanation of how to get it.
First, an explanation of the harmony parts:
In both career mode and quickplay, you can pick "harmonies" or "solo" when playing vocals. Solo works just like any other singing game you've played but harmonies adds in some extra tracks in brown that represent the backup singers for that song. There will be one or two depending on the song and the backup tracks are represented by brown tracks (the lead is blue). In a section of the song you can sing any part you want, blue or tan/brown but note that they have separate fill meters so if you sing half of the blue track and half of the brown track, you'll get a "messy" or similar for that section. As far as I can tell, you'll be fine up to hard difficulty with just one singer on songs with harmonies though they are really intended for 2 or 3 people.
What this achievement tracks is your singing score when you've elected to include the harmonies. This is not available on all songs, just the ones with a number 2 or a 3 in the difficulty rating (indicating it's for 2 or 3 singers) which is probably 3/4 of the available songs. I don't know if it includes DLC songs. Your total BEST score from all harmonies-sung songs must be 1 million to get this achievement. This means you can't sing the same song over and over to get 1 million points.
I created a separate vocal career to work on this but you can do it from quickplay or another career. That will give you access to more songs if you can't pass a block in the career and need to move on. I found RB:Beatles to be pretty forgiving when it comes to singing. I suck at vocals and I was able to pull off medium/hard and get the achievement during the second Abby Road block. I was netting anywhere from 20k to 100k depending on how well I did and the difficulty level.
I did not do this with multiple singers but, from what I understand, data is tracked only for the gamer who is signed in as the microphone profile and only they will get the achievement.

Getting this from quick play while I was working on All The Children Sing was a pleasant surprise, and it's probably best to go for both at the same time. Thumbs up!

Just so you know, yes you can get this in either Story Mode or Quickplay; however, it will not count scores on DLC towards your career score (so sorry "Abbey Road Medley" won't work for this, a pity because that's worth a huge amount of points.)
You can do this as one person singing on harmonies but it will take longer since you'll get lower scores. On average should take about 15 to 20 songs, depending on difficulty, your scores, whether or not you actually have additional people for the multiple harmony parts, etc.
It will only count the highest score on any individual song towards your career score, so you can't just sing the same song over and over (if you get a higher score than you did before, it will count the additional points towards your score though.)
Long easy songs will get you a higher score faster. "I am the Walrus" especially; you can potentially get about 200,000 points on just that.

This one is pretty straight forward but I thought I would add a little tip. If you are also going for the Double and Triple Fab achievements you will get this easily, even on easy.
When you finish story mode go back in and play each instrument you have left and play enough different song to score 1m points, you should only need to do 15-25 songs depending on your scores. On the vocal harmonies, you must select the harmonies option, solo scores DO NOT count toward the vocal harmonies.
For these trophies, you must earn a total of 1,000,000 in your career with the specific instrument. It doesn't matter what difficulty you play on and when you get this will depend on how well you play. Go through the story until you get the trophy to pop up and if you don't have it by the end of the story, simply play a song that gives you a lot of points until you get it.
