You need to complete each chapter challenge with at least five stars for each song. A chapter challenge is basically an entire set list from story mode run back to back. These won't unlock until you complete the corresponding sets in story mode.

While you're playing: if you go to the pause menu and hit "restart" it will only restart the current song in the chapter challenge, and you won't lose your score or star ratings from the previous songs. So if you mess up a single song you don't necessarily have to replay the entire thing. Just make sure you realize you're not going to get your 5 stars before the song ends, or you're stuck!

When you complete a chapter you unlock a chapter challenge. This involves playing all the songs in a row without a break.

So, first complete the Story mode to unlock all the challenges. Then play through each challenge getting 5 stars in every song and you should get the achievement.

This will obviously get more difficult towards the end of the game where there are more songs per chapter and some of them a bit trickier, but just keep at it. If you get 4 stars on a song, restart the challenge as there's no point continuing if you're just going for the achievement.

An helpful tip to make life easier when going for this achievement.

Towards the end of the song, save as much star power as possible (assuming you have or will get 5 stars) and a 4X multiplier. Take both of these over to the next song. And at the beginning, after you see the first note, use the star power. This will give you 2-3 full stars (assuming you are hitting all the notes).

Of course, using easy is a simple method. Good enough for me.

And restart the song if you are about to finish without 5 stars. I am not sure if you loose your starting combo and star power.
