The Bigs 2

Just go onto xbox live and search for a ranked match. Now there are some things you're going to want to consider.

1) If your opponent quits a game early, they do not get penalized and no one gets the win. Be nice, stay in the game.

2) Baseball is a sport of precision, and even though The Bigs 2 changes that a bit, you still need relatively well timed swings. As a result, hitting the ball is pretty hard whenever there is lag. try to minimize the amount of traffic going on on your internet connection.

3) The community has died down a bit, so if you're searching at 2 am (USA time zones), you're unlikely to find anyone. Try primetimes around 5 pm.

4) If you're going to consider a boosting partner, make sure you give them positive feedback initally, so you're more likely to get matched up. This means it's less likely that you'll quit on someone and make them sad.

5) You don't get "bonus points" for picking a bad team. Take the Red Sox, Yankees, Angels, or other comparably good team.

6) Any teams with hitters that have the No Doubt Homerun power make them extremely valuable in short games where it is hard to make contact very often.

7) Use your saved up points for the generic homerun in my opinion - the grand slam is just too hard to pull off when you assume there is lag in the game. But it's your call. You'll only probably get one opportunity per game.

8) Bring in your closers. Get those bonus points that they give you. You don't have to worry about them being tired for the game tomorrow since there isn't one!

9) Bring in those guys off the bench to pinch hit. You have a very limited amount of at bats.

10) Despite the positions each player has written by their name, they can play wherever you want them to except pitcher. If someone has a good throwing arm, put them in at catcher to protect the steal. I find that you should leave your weakest fielding players at second base.

The problem with the online matches is that it's possible to quit a game early and not get penalized for it or give your opponent a win. This means that when your ahead, the chance that your opponent quits on you.

Don't quit early yourself, it's that thing called karma.
