The BIGS

A "Grand Slam" is when the batter hits a Home Run, and you have a batter on each base, therefore scoring a whopping four runs with one hit. The hardest part of this achievement is getting the batters on base, and making sure they don't run more than one base.

I found the easiest way to get on base is to hit the ball to center field (hold the analog stick up and press A) and most times, the AI won't get it before you make it to a base. This is the best way to get singles IMO, because the other batters rarely run more than one base.

Once you have a batter on every base, activate your Big Blast (LT + RT) and hit the ball: instant homerun, you'll score 4 runs, and that's a grand slam. If you don't have enough juice to use the Big Blast, you have two options:

1. Get a hitter with five stars in contact and power, activate your power hit (RT) and hit the ball into the stands (I recommend towards center field again, using the B button this time). The fielder will probably jump for it, but it's hit or miss if he gets it or not.

2. Keep scoring hits to get more points (you get 10,000 points for a single base run, 15,000 for a double, and 25,000 for a triple.) until you get the Big Blast ready (first opportunity is at 100,000 points).

(Also, you get 7,500 points everytime you strike out a batter while you are fielding, so keep that in mind)

The best time you can do this is probably around the third inning, though it varies depending on how good you are at the game.

make sure 1 person is on 1st base, second base, and 3rd base, and hit a ball into the stands where people sit
