How to unlock the Magdalene achievement in The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth - Definitive Guide

Play as Isaac, or Samson (If you have Samson unlocked)

Refuse any devil deals you come across, and save all Eternal Hearts (They're white in color) until you find a second one, or you're done with the floor you're currently on.

Once you have 7 heart containers you'll have the achievement, and the character Maggie unlocked.

Alternatively, you can get 6, and use the Strength tarot card (This might work, but I'll need confirmation for it.)

Magdalene is unlocked by having seven heart containers of maximum health at any one time during a run. HP up's can be granted by items after boss rooms, items in treasure rooms, as well as using pills and certain active items such as the Prayer Card. It is highly recommended that you avoid all devil deals until you get the seven heart containers. 

NOTE: You must have seven red heart containers, Black Hearts and Soul Hearts will not count towards the total.

In order to get this trophy, you need to select all the items that make it possible for another “heart” to arrive in your lives. The most common items for this are:

  • Dinner
  • Heart
The rest are less common.
