How to unlock the Ready for Anything achievement in The Bureau: XCOM Declassified - Definitive Guide

As you progress through the mission, you earn XP for all actions that will level you up eventually. It might happen depending on your playstyle, that focusing only on Major Operations will not bring you enough experience to reach Rank 10.

After finishing your first major operation, there will be minor operations appearing on your battle map. They are optional to do and represent a smaller scale fight than the major ones - around one third of the time needed to complete.

Take your team and use it as an opportunity to level up your main character to Rank 10.

If I do all the side missions, is this kind of a given? *SPOILER* I just finished the part where I kill Axis and did one other side mission and I'm level 7. Am I tracking ok for this?

Yes, you progress well. Before the final mission it will prompt you anyway that its the last time to do minor ops.

How in the hell were you level 7 at that point? I just beat Axis, done all side missions so far and I'm level 6...

You can comfortably work on this Trophy in the main campaign by doing every major and minor operation. That way you should get to Rank 10 during the final mission.

You can also get this if you have the Hangar 6 R&D dlc. The dlc campaign will get you to Rank 10 if you want it or not. The rank system works a bit different here. You don't get XP for killing aliens. You will level up after every mission when you speak to Dr. Dresner.

The dlc way is a lot faster but both work of course smile.

Don't worry if you're headed into your last mission and you're still at Rank 9. There's enough combat in that last op that you should easily achieve Rank 10 by the end of the game (personally, I hit Rank 10 about 65% of the way through the final operation). With that said, this achievement is missable if you do not complete every minor operation the game has to offer. Focus on all available minor operations before tackling the major ops that drive the game forward. This will also give your field agents time to complete dispatch missions. Ready for Anything is best done in conjunction with Can't Be Everywhere at Once, Top. Men., and See the World, They Said...

You will have to complete every Major and Minor Operation to achieve Rank 10. You will have gained enough experience by the last mission. Your agents will gain experience through kills made by them, and the player within Operations, as well as at least one full level every Dispatch Mission.

Reaching rank 10 isn't possible until very late in the game. If all the Minor Operations were completed, then it should unlock early in level seven. Getting to level ten as early as possible is helpful for the late game fights, so here are some ways to maximize XP gain.
- Squad member who scores the kill blow on an enemy will get a little bonus xp.
- Don't destroy the drop pods until they exhaust their spawns.
- Drop pods can be destroyed after a battle is over for 20xp.
- Look for side paths in the story missions. Going in them and collecting the back schematic will often spawn more enemies.

Level up to rank 10. Don't forget to finish off the landing capsules. They give 20 xp. On hard, this experience is priceless. I laugh. To reach rank 10, Carter will not be able to complete only story missions. Also, consider all the minor expeditions.
