How to unlock the Welcome to Earth achievement in The Bureau: XCOM Declassified - Definitive Guide

Pressing right stick results in a melee attack, that on easy levels is an instant kill on greys and Outsiders. Run to them, kill, then retreat to recover lost health.

The achievement will pop immediately after the 20th kill.

can't confirm this but i am pretty sure that sleepwalkers count towards this achievement. otherwise, i dont know how i got it so easy when i wasnt aiming for it but i punched out every sleepwalker i saw (for fun) and it popped after i killed a silacoid. if anyone can confirm this i think it helps.

Very boring achievement, even on Rookie difficulty.

This is easiest to achieve during BaseVisit1. During the part of the mission where Nils is killed you fight the nameless Infiltrator. Instead of killing him him/it, run up and punch the little grey Sectoids that the Infiltrator will spawn. You'll get knocked down a few times but on Rookie difficulty it is easy to have them revive you. Just keep punching the grey guys that he endlessly spawns until the achievement pops then finish him off. You can punch a few mooks during the prelude to speed this along as well.

Just want to mention, the Sectoids he spawns aren't infinite at least not for me they weren't. I tried a few times reloading checkpoint and he eventually just decides to stop spawning them and only shoot, move, and throw grenades. You can get a decent amount here though as long as your squad doesn't steal your kills, but without additional kills from earlier it doesn't seem possible since he just stops.

You can start working on this Trophy as soon as you got your fancy tech bracelet after Mission 1.

Just run up to any enemy and press cn_RS to introduce them to human hospitality.

In between missions and in-game, when moving from one battleground to another, you'll come across silicoids, which you can kill with melee in one hit. These count towards this, so I'd recommend going for these.

All alien enemies work toward this trophy, including the Silacoid blob like creature. Finish off 20 aliens when given the ability to melee with , and this trophy will be yours.

Silicoids are the best enemy for this, because they are weak, run right at you and don't have guns. Even lone, seemingly weak Sectoid and Outsider enemies can down Carter very quickly in the open. It's best to weaken them, and then disable (Lift works well) or distract them before trying to melee.
