How to unlock the Armed to the Teeth achievement in The Callisto Protocol - Definitive Guide

Even though this was part of the "Hardcore" update, you can get this in regular New Game + on easy if you want. Took me 3 playthrus:

1. My first playthru
2. New Game +( I pretty much speed run it the best I could with some side exploration)
3. New Game + 2 (same again)

I got to the part where you got the Shotgun from the Girl when I got the achievement, so not a whole 3rd playthrough. I assume if you sell more stuff during New Game + the first time, you can probably get it before the Snow section/quicker then me.(I was hording ammo I really didn't need, and was just selling everything 2nd time around.)

Two full playthroughs and I'm still 2500 bucks short. I did every side activity, collected all the expensive loot, sold all unused ammo and health and it wasn't enough.
There is no reason why this achievement should require more then two entire runs of the game. I'm kinda mad to be honest.

Did this when the game was released and before they added this achievement. And now i have to do it all over again if i want it. This game is so retardet. And that u have to start a new save for hardcore is bs

Due to the achievement for Maximum Security being broken, and from the various pea-brained DLC that has been released - I've had to finish this game 7 times. They need to add something outside the main game now, I don't want to see it ever again

Yeah it’s clear from the “DLC” drops that they are clearly trying to pad this game to keep it relevant. This game disappointed me in almost every way. Don’t get me wrong, still a great experience the first time but not after.

I only have a few upgrades left from when I initially played the game from the New Game Plus update. Will I still get the achievement if I had some weapons upgraded prior to this achievement being released? I don't really wanna do another 3 playthroughs or so for this.

Can anyone clarify what is actually needing to be upgraded? All 4/5 of the guns, and the glove and baton? Or a combination of? Or are any of the above not required.

I've done majority of the guns bar the 4500 credit upgrades, and the baton, and majority of the glove, but i'd rather not waste credits upgrading something that's not required to be upgraded.

It's upgrade everything. They should have just called the achievement that to avoid confusion because I was worried about the same thing

For anyone wondering - a NG++ playthrough is certainly not mandatory. I got the achievement after the (first) two-head fight in the last chapter of my NG+ playthrough (normal/easy difficulty)

@jan0bi exactly. I'm pretty sure I picked up every component in both of my playthroughs, killed every enemy and also only used melee in NG+ to be able to sell every stack of ammo/health. I even backtracked a couple of times to pick up stuff I had to leave behind because of my inventory being full

This is definitely doable in 2 playhroughs. For the first playthrough I played a minimum security (easy) and 2nd playthrough a maximum security (hard). I popped the achievement before the 3rd two headed boss. Playing on minimum security gives you a significant amount of credits. Don’t be afraid to sell ammo if your inventory fills up, especially in minimum security.

This one was buggy for me (just like Max Security chievo). Didn’t pop initially so I reloaded a manual save a few times and re-upgraded and nothing. Dashboarded and quit and did the same and still nothing then I reloaded a manual again and I upgraded and it randomly popped!

I also did it in less than 2 runs, first in Minimum Security, and second in Maximum Security. I ended up my second run with 10K extra credits.

One more upgrade left at chapter 5. I played too conservatively on Min/Max and will definitely get it before chapter 6. If you get really good on your first playthrough, try to sell as much as possible.

Worth noting that all you really need is the baton for most of the game.

@tillthemorning - you must've sold everything possible. Im having to do a 3rd playthrough on NG+ normal to finish this cheevo off. Im still about 16k short in credits

Yeah, I find it very hard to believe it was possible in two playthroughs. Even if this guy wants to pretend he did, and maybe he did, I would still say it's not very helpful to others as it seems like the majority of us didn't

Took me until Ch. 3 of my 3rd play through. My 1st play through was maximum security, I was fairly inefficient and learning the game. I bought quite a bit of ammo end game which obviously cost me some credits. 2nd play through medium security, sold everything I could save for ammo for the boss fights. 3rd play through minimum security, didn’t use any ammo, sold all items, got the achievement just before draining the waste water tank. As others stated above yes you must by all the available options for all of your equipment, if it’s shown in the 3D printer menu, you must buy it.

There should be no need to do 3 playthroughs for this. I got the achievement well before the last few chapters on my NG+ run. Just sell everything, scavenge a bit in side rooms, and focus on mostly melee combat. I hardly ever had any ammo in my inventory, but you can always reload to get some in your clip for each weapon. You get 1000 credits for each Two-Head encounter so that's worth a good amount too. Don't be afraid to backtrack for leftover items after you've sold a bunch and cleared space in your inventory, and you can easily discard the GRP Battery Packs as they don't sell for much and take up space for more valuable items.

And most importantly, don't forget to stomp the enemies!

For anybody doing this, I'd do your two ng+ first, then use that save to do the dlc. The dlc allows you to carry progression, but u cant use the finished dlc save to go back to a NG+. Therefore, i almost finished it with just a playthrough and the dlc, 2 playthroughs and the dlc should be enough.

Thank you for reaching out to The Callisto Protocol support. We apologize for the delay in our response, as we are currently experiencing a high volume of tickets.

I understand your concern about the "Armed to the Teeth" trophy not unlocking even after you have fulfilled all the requirements for it to get unlocked.

I would like to let you know that there is a known issue where players are unable to unlock this achievement due to the Stun Baton missing. Please rest assured that this issue is known but due to the issue's complexity, we cannot provide an estimated date or time on when it will be resolved. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused.

For now, we suggest that the player would have to earn the achievement during their base game and NG+ playthrough.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. If you have other concerns, questions, or feedback about the game, please feel free to reply here, or you may also create a new ticket. We will be more than happy to help.

2 separate new game plus for just this one achievement and i get this as help. bruh I'm tired of playing this game so many playthroughs...

If you have already upgraded everything by the time of the patch (New Game +), then the trophy will appear ONLY when you enter the printer menu in the current save/walkthrough. The main condition is that at this stage you have all the weapons and tools (glove and baton) available.

It took me 2.5 complete walkthroughs - medium, maximum security level and minimum to the Dungeon.

Although the trophy is in the “Extreme difficulty” section, it is not necessary to take it exclusively on this difficulty (in this game mode) (since at least 4-5 playthroughs of NG+ will be required, since it is impossible to switch the difficulty, and there are very few credits).

For the trophy, it is enough to upgrade all weapons, playing in the normal game mode with any difficulty, and on NG+ reach the 2nd or 3rd magazine, which is located immediately after receiving the glove and opening it in the upgrade branch (subject to its full upgrade) - this is seems to be the middle of chapter 2 "Consequences".

I advise you, after passing on Maximum (which is also necessary for platinum), switch to NG+ mode on Medium or Easy in order to receive more credits and thereby quickly buy and upgrade everything.
