I would still recommend playing through the game on medium for fun and then on hard. It is quite short, but during the first playthrough you will definitely learn all the habits of the enemies, you will know where to save ammo for the battle with the two-headed one, etc. Hard will be a cakewalk after this, the game is not difficult at all, and when you learn the gameplay, it is as monotonous as possible. You can, of course, do all this on your first playthrough, but it will be more of a hassle until you get used to the mechanics of the game. I personally collected all the audio recordings without any guides, just carefully searching every corner, there are practically no variations. The game is a corridor game as much as possible, where the light is on, most likely your main path, with 1-2 nooks at most on the right/left. There are two rooms to which you can return with the fuse found, but if you play carefully, you will not forget to do this. There is very little chance of missing a hole in the wall or a ladder with loot. But even if you do this, no one is stopping you from finishing it off with the guide on the second playthrough. I sold all the first aid kits and extra cartridges, the main thing is that the clip was full and the ammunition was pumped, the health of enemies often drops. In general, I would give recommendations for pumping:
1. The starting pistol right away, except for the last improvement, to easily finish off enemies and kill two robots, which by the way is needed for achievements and replenishing finances.
2. The baton is the main weapon in the game, there is always a greater emphasis on it, the right and left halves are at maximum, which will give you damage and good quick combos with chopping off limbs, a block is not needed at all.
3. The third level of the glove is not needed, there are enough batteries for it, in the first playthrough I downloaded it completely, but I don’t see the point in it. On the second playthrough with all the branches for lvl 2 and several batteries, I scattered everyone on the platform with a two-headed one without spending a single cartridge.
4. A completely second shotgun, it has the best alt fire in the game.
5. I didn’t download the skunk shotgun and the tactical pistol at all, in order to save money on the rifle and not fill up my inventory with unnecessary loot.
6. Complete rifle. The ultimate weapon, although it requires 12k, but the last bosfight will become an easy breeze and the tentacles will be shot off with a bang.
7. At the end of the game, after all this I had 4k left, but I searched every corner and killed every mob, returned to the printer, and then sold all the loot when possible. I pumped up the capacity of the glove to the maximum and bought the rest for rifle and shotgun cartridges for the final boss.
That's all. I rarely used weapons, only to finish off enemies and cut off tentacles. Otherwise, the ammunition supply will quickly deplete, and this is an unaffordable luxury. From the end of the sixth chapter, always keep a lot of shotgun cartridges, because there will be as many as 4 battles with the two-headed one, and there the alternative fire will be very useful, so as not to bother with it for a long time. Gloves and explosive tanks will help with small mobs in the battle with him. The game is as simple as possible once you get used to it. Good luck.

Another “Terminated” trophy, I had to replay it until chapter 3, because at maximum speed I didn’t kill robots, unlike the two-headed one, there is no obligatory fight with a robot

Possibility of obtaining cross-trophies PS4/PS5.
Regarding this point, not everything is so simple. Saves from the PS4 version are actually visible in the PS5 version, but not on the contrary. Trophies are not transferred. Both automatic and manual saves save progress only at checkpoints; progress is not saved between checkpoints. Yes, if you are completing a trophy, for example, to improve a weapon, then after loading the save you will start from the checkpoint again, go to the 3D printer, print and receive your repeat trophy, but if you save at the next checkpoint and load this save in the PS5 version, Jacob will be with with an improved weapon, but the trophy itself will not be transferred. For example, there is a trophy where you need to grab the enemy 25 times with a power glove, then for each version these 25 grabs will have to be performed separately. But this is not the most unpleasant thing. I have both versions of the game on my PS5 console. And I noticed that in the Trophies menu only the PS5 version is visible, the PS4 version is not displayed. And receiving prizes in the PS4 version does not increase the number of prizes listed for your account. That is, in the list of platinums received, only 1 platinum will be displayed, which you will receive in the PS5 version. I don’t know if this is a protective mechanism or some kind of glitch; I’ve never encountered anything like this before.

As of December 27, 2022, the PS4 version sees saves from PS5, but only 3 trophies drop:
upon loading the last save, a trophy drops for audio recordings, after the final scene - for completing the game and for max difficulty
Considering the story trophies, secret rooms, etc., it’s probably easier to run through the game again on normal/easy difficulty, since there’s no need to collect audio recordings.

If you go 100%:
-minimal difficulty - collect collectibles, kill a robot, accumulate credits, improve your glove and baton, and if possible everything else
-ng+ maximum difficulty - just go through the game with upgraded weapons (it will be easier), improve the rest.
-continue the “last transfer” add-on from this save, in it you will upgrade the remaining weapons and receive trophies for the add-on itself.
-extreme mode from scratch
-extreme mode ng+
-infection mode without deaths
-riot mode
Total 5 playthroughs + 2 dls

Some fuses, where you can open and close the gate, you can keep for yourself, you pull out and immediately insert the fuse three times in a row and as a result the gate does not have time to close and you go through it with the fuse. But in fact, no matter how many fuses you take, you will always there will only be one extra. So a fight with a two-headed guy in the server room can be avoided.

If you, like me, get a black screen when loading cloud saves from the PS5 version of the game to the PS4 version, then the following helped me: Before starting the game, I turned off the Internet, as soon as the game loaded to the menu, I turned the connection back on and then loaded the cloud saves. There is no need to link the game to your Krafton account if you play within the same console.

A short history of how I got platinum. I started the passage at the “maximum security level”. Not to say that it was critically difficult, but some locations and battles had to be repeated again and again) I didn’t buy first aid kits, what I picked up was enough. For the first playthrough I received almost all the trophies, except for killing a robot and collecting a biography (I would also recommend leaving the trophy with upgrading weapons on NG+). After the first playthrough, we start NG+ on minimum difficulty, open YouTube with tips for finding biographies and run until we get the trophy. Already existing weapons and remaining credits are transferred to NG+ (plus, at the easy level, credits accumulate faster (more of them are given), so it’s easier to make a trophy for fully upgrading a weapon). Yes, and it’s much easier to kill a robot (during the first playthrough, when I reached the location where the game itself offers to kill the robot, I only had a pistol and 4 cartridges. And it’s impossible to do this with an arsenal). I was able to run to the slums (where I had missed the last biography) in 3-3.5 hours.

  • Play right away on maximum difficulty, it’s not as scary as they make it out to be, the main thing is to get used to the combat.
  • The first step is to upgrade the right branch of the baton to 1 (or 2?): zombies will not be able to interrupt the attack and you can kill them with endless baton-pistol combos.
  • If you explore every corner, there will be enough to upgrade 2 weapons, a baton and gloves (it is better to choose 2 weapons at once and not do others, as the backpack is small and will be filled with different cartridges; for example, the initial pistol with a shotgun / assault rifle, although the latter appears strongly at the end of the game) .
  • Selling extra first aid kits, I went through without any first aid kits at all, little things fall out of mobs and lockers.
  • In each chapter, make a save if you suddenly miss the audio recording; For battles with bosses, you must always keep a supply of ammunition; you cannot attack them in hand-to-hand combat.

How I did to quickly get 100% in the ps4 version by completing the ps5 version 100%. In the main plot, after each playthrough, the game automatically makes manual saves in the place where you need to run to the capsule, and here the trick begins after receiving all the gem prizes.
1. 1 playthrough at minimum level. security, 2nd passage of ni+ at the maximum level. security (Armed to the Teeth / Armed to the Teeth - during these two walkthroughs, try to sell as many first aid kits with ammunition as possible so that you have enough money for this prize and do not start the 3rd walkthrough).
2. 3 passage extreme, 4 passage extreme no+.
3. Riot mode survive 50 waves, go through it twice on ps4 and ps5 (very good training before infection).
4. Infection - to get two prizes at once I used the cloud from ps plus and checked the time of saves (I took screenshots of saves), the method by turning off the Internet the game began to crash for me often.
5. Now carefully leave 4 saves and delete the rest so as not to interfere (2 saves from step 1, 1 save from extreme n+, 1 save from infection and all should be “COMPLETED” and the goal is to run to the capsule). Load, run, and all the heaviest prizes automatically fall into the ps4 (max. security level, no+, 2 prizes for extreme sports, 2 prizes for infection, all audio recordings). If some save is not displayed on ps4, you need to load it on ps5 again to the capsule, then it will be overwritten and will appear on ps4.
6. On ps4, launch ni+ (minimum level oh.) with saving where I described step 1 and walkthrough 2 and reach the beginning of chapter 8 receiving all the other prizes for platinum (Reforged / Reforging - this prize just won’t fall out to get it start the game from scratch again and at the beginning of chapter 3 you will receive it along with the platinum). And on the workbench, everything will be pumped up, the cartridges will be pumped up and a first aid kit will be created for the prize where everything needs to be improved.
Timed steps 5 and 6 in 4 hours 5 minutes. passed and received 33 prizes.
7. Complete the last transfer on ps5, and on ps4 auto save with the last boss, load the boss, kill the boss, 2 prizes drop out (all audio recordings and for completing the extra) and the next extra is to start just to get to the sledgehammer and that’s it.
And thus 100% in two versions. On PS4 8 hours 30 minutes. approximately spent for 100% of the prizes.
