On Chapter 5 when Chris is being pulled in the door, as Jaime, choose the "flee" option to set this up. alternatively, if you bought firecrackers when choosing the drugstore first, you can choose "confront".
On Chapter 13, when Sam enters the storm drain, find Jaime first before you find Linda. To find him, after you first find Frank Stone and ward him with the camera, go through the grate illuminated by the orange light. The Spirit Relik can also be found in this hallway. Continue through the hallway and you'll eventually hear Jaime screaming for help nearby. Follow his voice and you'll find him pinned to the wall. Frank Stone will appear and you'll need to Ward him with your camera to save Jaime. After Sam tells Jaime to stay put, the achievement should pop.
Bonus: if you fail to stop Frank Stone by accident, you'll get the Memento Mori achievement, and you can use the Cutting Room Floor to go back and try again. On the flip side, if you succeed, you can go back with the Cutting Room Floor and intentionally fail for Memento Mori.

Not sure if anyone could help me but I am very confused with the cutting room floor. I played the game fully but need to change some outcomes to get some achievements like this one. I replayed chapter 5 and ran away from Chris then went to chapter 13 and started in the storm drain but when I go to find Jamie he isn’t there. Am I using the cutting room floor wrong? I thought you could change outcomes to affect the game so changing the outcome at chapter 5 would allow me to do the chapter 13 part.

@gaminghorizon7, in this case, you would have to play all the way from chapter 5 through chapter 13. You have to create a red line chain through the decisions you want, which isnt possible by skipping ahead like that, because the only "save" you have from ch 13 started when Jaime was dead.
