There're 3 generators in the game. You need to find spare parts first then go through a very simple QTEs to fix them:
Chapter 5 - in the Workshop / Jaime (1980)
Chapter 7 - in the wagon shed / Linda (1980)
Chapter 14 - after leaving the Observatorium / Linda or Madi (2024)
Please note that failing to repair the generators unlocks other story branches, so this achievement is not story related.

This achievement was bugged for me for the longest time. It wouldn't pop even after starting a new game and playing all the way through. But after the most recent patch, I launched the game, and the achievement immediately popped before reaching the title screen. thank god.
