Two parts to this one.
1. Firstly, you'll need to collect the key from the right area of the greenhouse, it's a side area you're pushing along so you won't miss this. We'll come back to "1" after making the special Alchemist items.
2. Secondly, we make the batch of plants. Honestly, best to just grab every plant as that's easiest to just mix by the names.
Mixture 1: (Crystalline Alchemical Plant) + (Glowing Alchemical Plant)
-The Crystalline Alchemical Plant is a plant beside where that key is.
-The Glowing Alchemical Plant is to the right of where you first enter the greenhouse.
Mixture 2: (Toxic Dripping Alchemical Plant) + (Odorous Yellow Alchemical Plant)
-The Toxic Dripping Alchemical Plant is in the room prior to the spot you get the key.
-The Odorous Yellow Alchemical Plant is right behind the pumping spot.
Mix them separately as noted, then mix them together and apply it to the machine.
Now back to "1", leave the greenhouse from where you came and go straight across to use the key you've collected. Move through the rooms and this stables like area then head left. Behind the back of a house you'll find a red metal container, this has a "valve". Bring the valve back, you can ignore enemies if desired and then place that on the machine. Then you'll get the Achievement, you can reload the checkpoint if you mess up.

As stated above by Sub Dub Pirate, I also had to reload the checkpoint after completing the task correctly to unlock the achievement.

Just a comment here, I followed this process by crafting the final mixture and applying to the machine. Then I picked up the key and went to get the valve. After using the valve and walking a bit, achievement didn't pop for me. Reloaded the checkpoint just to see and it then unlocked. Thanks for the solution here too!
