The eleventh quest is given to you by Mother Dearest: find the lance of Longinus from among all the other lances kept in the vault.

To do so, Louis needs to research. Mother mentions the paintings in Mortimer's study, and that Cardinal Piaggi would know a lot. Cardinal Piaggi can be found back upstairs in the house, gazing out to sea in the first floor Dining Hall.
CONFRONTATION.
1) Piaggi will ask if you're looking for the Lance of Longinus. Pick Yes.
2) Piaggi will ask if you've spoken to anyone else about it. Pick Yes again and then My mother.
3) Piaggi asks what you want to use the Lance for. Pick To drive away the Demons to pass the final step.
Info gained: the head of the Lance is covered completely in Christ's blood.
Info gained: Your notes say it's the shape of a boar spear.

Now, Louis can go and pick the Lance, or search for more clues. Assuming you're searching for more clues, Washington can be found in the first floor Great Hall of Zeus at the fireplace. He knows nothing, but will direct you to von Wollner.

Von Wollner's room is on the second floor, north side. Wollner's not here but he's left some things on his desk. There is also a pile of books in his bedroom that Louis can examine and keep one of if his Occultism skill is high enough. Von Wollner will enter and find you there.
CONFRONTATION
1) von Wollner wants to know why you're in his room. Pick I was looking for you.
2) von Wollner accuses Louis of looking for the Holy Lance. Pick What are you so afraid of?
3) von Wollner now accuses you of wanting to give the Lance to Sir Gregory. Pick For you, Wollner to succeed.
Info gained: the Lance would have been made out of copper, as the centurion would not have been noble enough to get a golden one. if you fail the confrontation, von Wollner will deliberately (and incorrectly) talk about 'the golden lance of Longinus'.
Info gained: the book you stole states the Lance would have been engraved with a fish symbol.

If you go upstairs to Mortimer's Office, there is a statue of Longinus on the north side. Examine the spear closely.
Info gained: Louis will discover a fish symbol on the head.
Info gained: the statue shows it in the shape of a leaf.
Using Subterfuges here suggest that Mortimer doesn't want to make it that easy for people to discover the true shape of the lance head.
The painting to the right of the statue displays Saint Longinus with the lance in his hand. A closer look shows that the Lance is in the shape of a spear. Using Distrust (Erudition lvl 1) suggests Mortimer ordered the making of the painting and therefore the Lance is indeed in the shape of a spear.

Returning to the catacombs, you can check the books on the able in front of the vault door. Mathew, Mark and Luke all say nothing about the Lance.
Info gained: John, however, describes it as a shimmering, shiny metal.

We're looking for a lance head in the shape of a spear, is made of copper and engraved with a fish symbol. Out of the (at least) twelve possibilities, this can be found quickly by going right when entering the catacombs and proceeding directly to the back of the room. It is third from the right.

Examining all the tombs in the catacombs unlocks Cataphile Trait (+1 Erudition). Leave the catacombs to finish the chapter.
