This takes place in Quest 1: Off The Coast of England. Shortly after you enter the manor you will speak privately with Cardinal Piaggi, who is the man you first spoke with at the dock when arriving. The scene will be your first "confrontation" of the game. In order to be successful you must give the correct responses. There are a total of five confrontations in Episode 1 and if you win all five you will unlock:

For this confrontation, choose the following responses:
- "Yes, she's been here for several weeks."
- "Professional secret, sorry."

In ‘Episode 1: The Mad Ones - Quest 1: Off the coast of England’, you will meet the Cardinal. You will enter a “Confrontation” to get him to give Louis a letter for his mother.

You need to give the correct responses to win the confrontation. These can go several ways depending on your class and skill set which open up various other correct responses.

This is one solution. It requires no specific class or skill.

Choose these responses:

Stage 1:
Question: Isn’t Louis’ mother here already?
Answer: Yes, she has been here for a long time.

Stage 2:
Question: What does Louis do with his mother?
Answer: General: This is a professional secret (does not require skills).

Stage 3
Question: Should Louis be trusted?
Answer: General: You can rely on me (does not require skills).

The last stage of the confrontation. You need to convince your interlocutor by choosing the right remark. The stage will be repeated until the correct answer is received or until the maximum number of errors is made.
