After your first vision in Quest 1, you will move along the wharf and speak with Emily again to be given the choice to pick your field of study between Detective, Occultist, and Diplomat. Choose Detective to unlock this Achievement.

Chapter One
During the first instances with your control of Louis, you'll end up moving up the dock and talking to Emily. She will try to remember what your job is, and this will be your option to open the path trees from three distinct class roles. Note that choosing one does not prevent you from choosing the skills in the others later down the line; just wait until you have some points in them before finishing them off. This trophy is also tied to two others:
