How to unlock the Sober achievement in The Council - Definitive Guide

There are four types of consumables:

Royal Jelly - increases your effort point by 2
Devil's Thorn - reveal the immunity of the opponent
Carmelite Water - your next usage of skill is free
Golden Elixir - remove all negative status

To use consumables, press any buttons on the D-Pad (cn_up, cn_left, cn_down, cn_right) and hold the required direction until the item is consumed.

To unlock this achievement, simply ensure that you don't use any of the above buttons during a quest.

I got it in the very first quest because I didn't realise I could use consumables at all until I was in the second quest! smile

Does anyone know if this is bugged?, I just finished the first quest of the third episode without using any consumables and I didn't get the achievement

Try doing it in the first episode.

Consumables are delegated to the D-Pad () and are used to either help with interrogations or refill/fix your effort point meter. You must first find them to be able to use them – they are laying around the mansion or hidden away in chests.

Do this in Episode 1, Quest 1. Just avoid touching the D-Pad. You can use effort points if you want to, just don't do anything to restore them or help with any confrontations you may have.

The consumables are: Golden Elixir, Carmelite Water, Devil’s Thorn and Royal Jelly. Simply don’t use any of these in a single Quest and this will unlock.

The easiest way to do this is during the very first task, when there are practically no potions, just not use any of them. Can be combined with the Out of breath / Squeezed lemon trophy.
